I'm around today. It's going to be another busy day of meetings, pretty much back to back. Last night I went back to Modern class for the first time since May. It was hard but good to be back. I think I might need to get a little something for my feet because dancing barefoot isn't as easy as it used to be.
My excitement today is that I'm going to the chiropractor after work.
Oh, there's a guy I dated a while ago who kinda jerked me around. I don't even really remember details anymore, but I know he was a douche. I've stayed very loosely in touch with him over time, just chatting here and there and being supportive when he's reached out in a way that seemed like he needed a friend. I have zero interest in him. He seems to have decided that he wants to win me over and get me to date him. So I guess I'm going to be cutting off contact since he can't understand that friendship =/= waiting around for a chance.
tiramisu, I've been slammed at work with getting a CD set out and I go home and the last thing I want to look at is another screen.
In positive news. I'm loosing weight, 5 lbs as of today in two weeks. I've been hitting the gym at least 3 times a week, walking more and eating healthy. It feels good.

That's great! Nice work! I get it about being so busy that you just don't want to get online when you're home.

It's supposed to snow 5 inches in a short period of time today, so I'm thankful that I don't have any offsite meetings to attend to today. Trying to get my quarterly presentations done (I now have 3 to do in my new role vs 1 in my last role). Thankfully, my hot flashes have subsided a bit so I've slept well the last two nights.
I know I sound like a broken record but I am in love with our new master bedroom. I stupidly had no idea what a difference a different mattress and bedding could make. The new sheets, comforter and duvet are amazing. And, we finally get to use the amazing throw we got from the fancy-schmancy resort we stayed at in October.

doriswe , we bought a sister version to the one we already had. P's brother recommended the brand and so he bought one 4 years ago. It's held up so well and it was so inexpensive that we decided to buy the same brand for the king sized bed.
Here is the website. You can take a quiz to see what they recommend and then you purchase off Amazon. We just bought the Alden and we love it.
ETA: the one on our queen sized bed is a medium firm, which P bought because he used to sleep on his stomach, which worked for him but I used to get shoulder pain because I sleep on my side. We are both side sleepers now and so we bought the medium soft one.

doriswe, I hear you! P originally bought it because it was $400. He figured it was worth a shot, given the price. We kind of felt the same way about the one we just bought. King sized mattress for less than $700? Okay. If it sucks we will sell in on Craigslist.

It makes you want to go to bed earlier just to enjoy the room.

What, you ladies don't think a guy I've nicknamed doucheberet in my phone, who just broke up with his girlfriend, is a good candidate to date?? I can't imagine why!
