Happy Friday all! I'm off in a few hours to get my weekend started. (After I hit the gym with a coworker) I'm down 6lbs and just booked a trip to Thailand in May. Now it's time to hustle to keep on track to hit my weight loss goal.
Whats on Tap for everyone?
I'm watching six nations rugby tomorrow. C'mon Wales! Then heading out for a girlfriends birthday. Yipee. She's one of my oldest friends.
Sunday... kicking back and meal planning so I don't derail my progress.
Party prep tonight and tomorrow morning. Guests will arrive around 3pm tomorrow?? Somehow we have 30-35 people who have RSVP'ed and that doesn't include SOs. Yikes. I hope we make it out alive!!
Nothing for Sunday. Our hope is to start getting London acclimated to the chair. He does not like it so far so our plan is to try to work on making it a positive experience with all of us walking with him and treats.
Guess who slept through their alarm this morning? I woke up at 8, when I'm usually signing in to my work about 7:30. Dedicated employee, party of 1. It's now 11, and I still haven't managed to shake the brain-fog feeling. I may give up and nap at lunchtime, LOL.
Owen pried one of the shoes off his feet sliding around in the snow and ice, so I'm meeting his farrier at the barn this afternoon so he can get a new one put on (and I will be forever expressing my gratitude to the farrier for showing up in less than 24 hours. My previous farrier would take up to 5 days to show up, leaving me with an unrideable horse with a sore foot).
I have a haircut tomorrow morning, and I'm currently pinterest-ing trying to find some haircut photo that appeals to me.
Sometime this weekend, M and I need to select/book the last couple excursions for our cruise, and then we're all set to roll up to that ship next Saturday and relax. We also booked a couples massage for one of our at-sea days.
Enjoy the housewarming doglove! The fun part about housewarmings is that no one expects things to be perfect, because you just moved, after all. Hope you can squeeze everyone in (or maybe they'll show up at different times to spread themselves out?).

This evening I'm meeting a newer friend out at a new brewery. Tomorrow afternoon I'm doing a Mardi Gras themed thing with food and drinks at 20 different places. We'll see how it is. Before that, I'm getting a manicure with nail art.
Sunday will be relaxing and prepping for the week. Somewhere in there I'll also be trying to make time to practice my jazz and tap routines.
So glad it's Friday! I slept in the morning...or rather I tried to...my neighbor texted, called my cell, and called my home phone at 7am. I knew something was up when she tried to get me so many ways. Turns out her car wouldn't start and she had a big meeting at 8am. I got up and gave her my car keys. I went back to bed and dozed for another hour or so but it wasn't exactly the sleeping in I'd hoped for.
This weekend I'm planning to mostly just spend a ton of time with the new puppy. There will be lots of long walks and maybe a trip to the dog park to toss a tennis ball.
