k3am - maroon is a year round color here thanks to Texas A&M. Because of DH I have lots of maroon dresses and tanks because parties/tailgating. I always resisted before I need to wear it, so try it!

Oh, I definitely do. I try to pair it with something other than black or navy to make it seem more seasonally appropriate.
Dresses for tailgating always surprises me, but then I remember Texas. There are no dresses involved in football here.

This is so tough. My initial thought would be blue (any shade), but my favorite college team's colors are green and white, so maybe I would want green (any shade) because of that, given that blue is one of the colors of the biggest rival team...

I can't decide between dark blue or dark purple. I wear both a lot. My uniform is dark blue, so I would probably go with purple to have a contrast from work. Dark colors are a must and I always seem to spill something in myself...lol.
Purple - any shade. It works great with dark purple in the winter and lavender in the summer and the shade works great with my hair color and skin tone.
Pink. I wear a lot of black and grey, so I love to wear bright colors when I can. I love maroon/wine color, but it makes me look... blue. Like, my skin actually takes on a bluish color. It's awful - I look like a corpse. So, pink!
