5 days of yoga done last week. I definitely need to start tracking my water. I'm drinking wayyyyy too much coffee and not nearly enough water lately.
Writing out my meal plan is helping. I grabbed take out once last week when I should have ate leftovers but I blame my period. Getting better at least!
S- clean out the fridge/find your own M- shepherds pie with sweet potatoes T - tilapia, rice, veggies W- Korean beef, leftover rice, steamed peas Th- leftovers F- chicken drumsticks, corn on the cob, salad Sa- minute steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans
H and I are starting to get serious about figuring out a new gym schedule. Now that the kitchen is almost done and the rest of the house is going to be much less time consuming to work on, I’m ready to get back to the gym and start making up for lost time.
Anyone have any yoga mat recommendations? I need a new one and I was going to just buy another cheap one, but H suggested that I invest in a good quality one this time.

Reached my goal of 20 miles running last week (ran 22 total). I am hoping to do the same this week but it will be challenging as it’s supposed to be “cold” and a couple days of rain. Today it’s really windy so no chance of getting some miles in.

This week has gone as predicted and it looks like I won’t reach my goal. I did run 5 miles yesterday and 6.3 miles today! Hoping to run again tomorrow, 5-6 miles. So if I had run a 4th day like I have been doing I would definitely reach 20 miles.
A new friend from preschool is training to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Her H is as well. It got me thinking a dreaming...so I talked to my dad and we are tentatively aiming to attempt to qualify at a local marathon in May 2019 for Boston 2020. I originally brought up running in 2023 (I would be 40 and he would be 70) but this makes a little more sense. This is the plan as of today so long as I don’t convince DH to have another baby. Excited to see how this next year goes! It’s been a lifelong dream to run Boston with my dad! DH is being supportive but also wondering how we are going to afford a vacation to Boston...I told him we can just worry about that if/when the time comes (my dad and I have both qualified at different times...getting us both qualified for the same year is definitely going to be a challenge).

I reached my goal! Purposely ran 4.35 miles out so I had to go back, for a total of 8.7 miles! 20 miles run in just 3 days! And I managed to set 4 new records today (longest run, fastest mile, fastest 5k, fastest 10k)! Averaged 9:01 pace.
So I decided to look up my qualifying time and pace. I need to run at least 3:40, which is 8:23/mi pace. Yikes, that’s fast (although 13:13 slower than my best marathon...which was also my last one and was in May 2012). Ideally I need to run even faster because they stagger registration based on how much faster than qualifying time...so the faster you go the better your chances of actually running Boston.
