What the hell happened today?

I come back from running errands and all kinds of crazy happened. I'm down for a new board if there is less drama, but I feel like it's inevitable. What does everyone think of this board so far?

I will be here for a while, if not indefinitely. I know that shouldn't be a deciding factor for anyone, but that was my baby she/it was making fun of and then eav2c's too. TB will do nothing about it and I just can't support that anymore.

Yep. I think I'll post a bit on TB until things are decided but I've had enough. My thing is, which I stated earlier, TB makes money off of us. When we click an ad or do numerous other things, they are literally profiting off of us and yet they let us and our LO's get run over by these relentless trolls. I dont except rainbows, unicorns, glitter poop... but I think TB could respond better/quicker. I'm not big on change but I think given that TB Gods haven't really stepped in says how much they care about us... so why give them traffic and profit? I enjoy the people on TB so I'll go where everyone goes but I think more should be done to protect us.

I'm kinda feeling the same way. I get that we could just ignore the trolls on TB, but some of that is so cruel. The last time somebody's LO was sort of threatened, we had to go to other boards to track down a mod and get it blocked. It took longer than it should have to get taken care of.

It really is. On my phone it doesnt show when a thread has a new post. Does it on the app? I feel like I'll never keep up if I don't know if there is a new post.

I am planning to do both for a while and see what happens, just like I did with TN. I will probably stick with TB a little longer out of loyalty, though.

I believe they sell demographic information to corporate sponsors.

It's not bad, not as easy to follow as TB but it is nice to see familiar faces here. I can't wait to go back to work in a couple weeks so that I can keep up with both boards!! It'll be really hard trying to keep up with both while home with LO....

I didn't know that until someone recently bitched about it on one of TB boards. They said they were getting junk mail and were pissed. They posted a PSA about it and everyone was all "You gave them your real address???"
