Thank you! I was so happy to finally get a pic where her little eyes aren't all gummy from the neverending tear duct issues. Also, Ryan the Lion is DH's favorite toy. He totally fell in love with him at BRU when we were registering, so I'm trying to take her monthly pic with him.

I feel you on the eye gunk. Lexi has had a clogged duct since birth. It always looks irritated when I take a pic.
My favorite part about it is how strangers always comment on how the poor baby is/was crying. Like I was just off in the corner of the grocery store abusing her or something. One time an awesome JoAnns cashier said it and I replied like I always do, nicely explaining the tear duct thing. She paused for a sec and said sympathetically, "Well, then you're probably really tired of hearing about it, huh?" I almost kissed her.
Do either you or your DH have allergies? DH and I wonder if perhaps Maggie has allergies (DH is allergic to everything, including cats, of which we have four) and they're aggravating or contributing to it.

OMG I get so tired of hearing about it too! And lol about abusing her in the corner.
DH has allergies really bad. We went to visit family and she was so much worse around that area's pollen. Her eyes teared up so bad and hers would be matted shut every time she would wake up from a nap. As soon as we got home, it was much better, but not all the way gone. DS1 also has terrible allergies. He missed school today because he felt so bad, and he's not a whiner. The pedi said if it's still like this at 6 months she is referring her to an eye doctor.

Sounds like we are on the right track then. I've started vacuuming the area rug and furniture every other night after she goes to bed to help with the dander, in case that's the issue.
Wow! At her four month our pedi said they wouldn't do anything until 18 months. DH is going to ask his allergist for advice at his appointment next month. Poor baby is constantly rubbing her eyes and I feel terrible for her.
