How did everyone do last week?
I didn’t do bad eating wise. Working out didn’t happen since I was weak from the flu. I’m feeling stronger so am going to attempt a lower body workout later.
I’ll post my meal plan when I get home since I need to redo it.
My goal for this week is to make some decisions about a new workout plan. H and I have been talking about getting back into our gym routine and what we want that to look like now that his work schedule has changed again, but we need to finalize our plan and get going.
I'm also planning to find the motivation to get back into my daily yoga routine this week. I miss it and I think it would help with my mental health, which isn't in a great place right now.
katespade You should totally get back into a daily yoga routine. I swear it's really helping me mentally since I have to slow down, concentrate, and break from everything else.
Last week was good. I did yoga every damn day which I'm super proud of. I even did a second video a couple days when the first video was a short one. I think it's really helping me mentally. I'm also 6 pounds from my pre-pg weight with G which is the lowest I've been since 2014. I'm still eating too many sweets but I have been slowing reducing that as well.
I followed my meal plan until Saturday. So doing better on that. I still haven't made one for this week so I'll post that later when I get it done.
bk1 - If you join the Yoga with Adriene email list, they send out monthly calendars with a daily yoga schedule. The theme for March is self-doubt, which is exactly what I need right now. I'm going to spend the next couple of days hyping myself up, and then hit the ground running on March 1.
I also might go to a yoga class tomorrow. There's a local studio that offers $5 classes on Tuesday and Friday nights, which seems much more reasonable than the usual per class price, and would get me out of the house for an hour.
Also, I'm really struggling with my food anxiety and ARFID triggers. I've been skipping meals pretty regularly because I'm afraid to eat, and I'm starting to lose weight again. I know that making a meal plan would help, but I'm overwhelmed with where to start. For me, it needs to be more than dinner. What I really need to do is plan out my entire day, and assign times to each meal so I don't get distracted and skip them.
suzv 21DFX is amazing. Autumn is amazing. Love her.
Just finished 21DFXE. I can see some minor changes. But I slacked a little in the nutrition department and that's more than likely to blame for weaker results. Starting 80DO next week through Be.ach Bo.dy. I'm going to leave post-in notes at my desk and home reminding me to not slip up with food. These last 7 pounds are PISSING ME OFF. OMG.
MrsMB- I am holding onto 10 lbs from L and 15 from where I think I should be (pre pg weight from C, which is 5 lbs from race weight). I know some of it has to be muscle weight but I could also be much more diligent with nutrition.
I did great last week! Reached my goal even though I ran one less day. Ran my longest and fastest workout since babies. I can definitely see that the work it paying off fitness wise.
My plan is more or less the same...20 miles (so long as my leg feels ok. It started hurting about 4 miles in yesterday and is still sore today...injury type sore, otherwise I would push through). Hoping to run Weds, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday.

Breakfasts are either oatmeal and a banana or toasted bagel with cream cheese. Lunches will be leftovers. I have cut up pineapple, jerky and string cheese for snacks.

Yell at me ladies!
I got home last night, ate a pretty healthy dinner of beef fajitas then ate 6 mini Dove ice cream bars. 6! They are 70 calories a piece so I ate an extra 420 calories. Grrr! I am pmsing but that isn’t an excuse.

I do this....I eat sooooo healthy 80% of the time and bomb on things like this.
wineandcheese- I do stuff like that all the time. I used to have much better self control...now I get in bad habits of “rewarding” myself with things I really shouldn’t eat or drink.
Ran 6 miles today. Haven’t run since my long run on Sunday (part lazy and part worried about how bad my leg was hurting me). Today felt great!
Ran 5 miles yesterday (would have gone a little more, maybe 1.5 miles, but it started raining and I had the boys) and 5 miles today. Only 16 miles for the week so I didn’t reach my goal. Supposed to have nice weather this week so hoping I get more runs in.
