So today I was at Marshalls and was surprised to find my favorite Algentist Genius cream (full size) with a few smaller items in a set for $25. This stuff sells for $75 at Sephora! It's all sealed up and looks exactly the same as the jar I have now.
This is legit and I hit a gold mine today right? I should probably go back and buy a few more right?
Yes it’s legit! It’s typically “stale” stock from their partners - I’ve noticed Macy’s and JCP house brands in there before. Most of their stuff is manufactured expressly for the stores but you can definitely find overstock and discontinued/limited edition situations in the cosmetic department.

Well this is great to hear! I usually wait for a Sephora sale, buy one jar and make it last by only using it at night until the next sale. Guess I'll be going back and picking up more at Marshalls! I can really slather it on good now! At this price it's cheaper than quite a few drugstore brands.
Just check the expiration date to make sure it’s not super close. Sounds like it’s at Marshall’s because it was a LE gift set though, so you should have at least 12 months.
ETA: I had a great conversation with a lady in line at TJ Maxx a couple of months ago - she saw I was buying a tube of Pureology curl cream and remarked that she always checks there first. There’s an Ulta literally next door selling it at over 3x the price.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

Went to a TJ Maxx and found some Algenist 360 eye cream for $20 today! That stuff is $70 at Sephora. I've never shopped these stores regularly but I think I'll start stopping when I'm nearby just to quick check the skincare aisle!
Check haircare too. I normally stop in there because the prices beat Ulta clearance (though lately I’ve been finding really discounted stuff at Ulta, like $1-$3 for salon brand shampoo and conditioner).
