It’s weird how watching one tutorial can completely change my mind on a product. I have a cream blush and highlight that I’ve been struggling to use because I just couldn’t make them work on me. Then I watched Lisa Eldridge’s secret makeup look and it just clicked with how she applied her cream products and now I’m actually loving using my two creams. I might even get one of the Natasha Denona check palettes if I can finish these up this year lol.
RIP Lorac Pewter single. You were well loved and will be missed.
Y'all. This was my FAVORITE eyeshadow. Perfect neutral taupe, not too brown, not too gray. I've seen it in palettes, but those always seem too brown. And I have Urban Decay Pistol, but that's a touch too gray.
My sister has the Pewter in a palette and she insists it's the same, though. (She loves this color as much as I do, probably more since she must have gone through her single faster than me)
I placed a Sephora order (the DE Rise and Glow kit, so I can try out the C-Firma before dropping $80 on a bottle; UD De-Slick Setting Spray; Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 treatment), and I picked the B&B Hairdresser's Invisible Oil shampoo and conditioner for my birthday gift.
I probably won't bother picking up the Ulta birthday gift (a lip oil and mask). But I will totally take advantage of the 2x points all month and the $10 off coupon.
I know it’s disappointing but don’t turn your nose up at the oil! I’m actually liking it. I keep it on my desk and apply throughout the day. Has a spicy scent, almost Christmasy.
I've come to the conclusion that I'm really not a big fan of the RCMA no color powder, at least not for every day. I MUCH prefer the Laura Mercier powder and I finally understand why it's SO popular. I just ran out but will be buying more by Friday.
I also used up my Bobbi Brown corrector and decided to try the NYX dark circle concealer. I really don't like it anywhere near as much. I was hoping to be able to save money that way, but back to Bobbi Brown I go.

You may like MAC Satin Taupe. It's a cool-toned shimmery brown like Pewter.

I'm on a makeup rut lately too. I did fix my face this past weekend for the ECCC and my makeup looked amazing in our picture with the DeLorean, Biff and Doc.
But for everyday, foundation, blush, eyeliner, setting spray, done. I wish I can skip all of them but I just had yet another bout with cystic acne so I have blemishes again. I'm back on doxycycline too. It just never ends.
Does anyone have a travel size pore filling primer they’d be willing to part with? I’ve turned my bathroom inside out looking for my mini stash and can’t find them anywhere.
I am trying really hard not to buy one of the 6 Pan Pat McGrath palettes right now. I’m trying to save up so I can go crazy during the spring VIB sale but the limited edition part is making me want to grab it now. If I get a good coupon code soon that might push me over lol.

The photo in the first post inspired me to do a "bright" pink eyeliner this morning - and I LOVE IT! I used Totally Fetch (darkest pink) from the TF Chocolate Bon Bons plus the sprinkles (lightest pink) as my eyeshadow.
Also, there are a ton of new eyeshadow pallets that I want. Must use up at least one more before buy another...
That is one of my favorite liners, so I bet I'll like the shadow. Thanks!
Now I need to check out the liner! haha
It's a great liner for when I want a little definition on my eyes but done want to be like "hello I'm wearing eyeliner." It works beautifully on my sister who is very fair. She can't wear most liners as they are too harsh on her.

Do you find it glittery? One UD liner I have leaves little glitter pieces but I need to look up if it’s just another metallic like mushroom or some glitter one.

UD Mushroom liner is a shimmer, not at all glittery.

Is Smashbox photo finish a pore filling one? I have at least 6 of the sample packets
pandorica, I really love TF BTS mascara. I just opened a travel size Stila msacara- Huger than huge i think. I've only used it a few times, but I like BTS better I think.
I have a $50 sephora gift card and ebates is 8% today.
I need better eye brushes. I don't have a single decent blending brush. my pencil brush is also pretty terrible. I could also use a AHA product. And a new cream shadow intended for my standard 5 minute face, single wash of color kind of thing.
And as I type this out, I realize this is why I don't shop at Sephora - because I know that I can find version of these things for a TON CHEAPER in lower market brands they don't carry. ugh.
Maybe I want to splurge on perfume? could finally buy myself a full size of the perfume I like and have been hoarding samples of...
I forgot Sephora has a whole section of mini's. Fuck. I am not going to have a problem spending this $50. And I get my birthday gift. None of the promo codes are grabbing me though. I guess I can always try a new mascara.
Yay 5x points on skincare at Ulta plus 3x for platinum and it’s time I get a backup of my face serum. Hello 2000 points:) For once there’s a bunch of things I actually want to get at Ulta too.

I'd skip the brushes at Sephora and go for Sigma or something.
Sephora now carries a limited number of ColourPop products, so you might be able to find a cream shadow there.
I'd get a rollerball of your perfume, a CP shadow, and another mini or two, so you'll have a nice haul.
I just ordered a sample of MUAC's lac-lauronic cream which is supposed to be a dupe of the Sunday Riley good genes. I also ordered a body peel. I'm excited for them to come in. The PTR pads I'm using aren't giving me the results I want/need and I suspect it's b/c my skin doesn't like glycolic acid.
