I felt like it was a slow month, mainly because the books I read were pretty short, but I did read 7 books, so it wasn't that bad and I watched as much of the Olympics as I possibly could stay awake for, so I feel like I have an excuse for not reading too much.
9. Imperial Requiem: Four Royal Women and the Fall the Age of Empires by Justin C. Vovk 5***** 10. Malice at the Palace by Rhys Bowen 4**** 11. A Spoonful of Murder by Robin Stevens 5***** 12. It's a Bright World to Feel Lost In by Mawson 5***** 13. Double Chocolate Pistachio Murder by Susan Gillard 3*** 14. Behind the Lines: The Year's Best Political Cartoons 2017 edited by the Museum of Australian Democracy 4**** 15. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (audio book read by Kate Reading) 4****
A Spoonful of Murder was my favorite of the month, I loved the different situation and the uncomfortable situation Daisy found herself in. Double Chocolate Pistachio Murder was okay, it's a Kindle Freebie and worth what I paid, but it was an easy read during the down time of Olympics Coverage.
Keep Quiet by Lisa Scottoline 2* Piecing Me Together by Reneé Watson 4* I Am Watching You by Teresa Driscoll 3* My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent 1* (I really really disliked this book) The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter 4* The Girls From Corona Del Mar by Rudi Thorpe 3* History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera 5* (The second book I've read by this author and I am a huge fan after this one) The Perfect Nanny by Leïla Slimani 4* An American Marriage by Tayari Jones 5*
