Bowser-dog made it through his dental cleaning and tooth extraction on Friday. He's bounced back a lot faster than I expected him to, which has made me really happy. He was totally out of it on Friday evening and he's been a bit grumpier than normal since then, but he's eating well and acting like himself so that's a huge relief.
Monday - I need to go to the lab for a blood draw. Ugh.
Thursday - Appointment with my endocrinologist. It's my regular 6-month appointment, but I'm also going to ask her about TTC hormone level testing and RE recommendations.
Friday - Appointment with a new OB/GYN in the morning - Establishing care, talking about TTC next steps (most likely medicated cycles), and hopefully addressing the pain issues my current GYN has decided we should just ignore. Tattoo in the evening, still unsure on what I'm doing because I'm afraid to get it on my foot. lol.
Saturday - I currently have a hair appointment, but I think I'm going to reschedule. No matter what I end up doing at my tattoo appointment, I know that I'm not going to want to spend a bunch of time in a salon the next day.
The world is officially ending. In the 6 years I've been at my work, they've NEVER closed. They're closed today! Holy crap! H went into work and everything was fine for the most part but once the snow starts it's going to be horrible since it rained/sleeted yesterday. He said they might close early though. Must be a bad storm on the way!

Not much going on here. Currently doing laundry.
Normal work week. We are supposed to get 12 inches of snow Wednesday.
This weekend we may go up to the finger lakes to go wine tasting. H surprised me with it the other day. It depends if H has to take a test this weekend or not. If he does then we will just go next weekend.
We have a couple of appointments this week: GI for G, haircut for B & me. I need a hem on my bridesmaid's dress but the one place I took it to wanted $40! I don't really have the luxury of time to schlep it all over, but that just seemed ridiculous to me for a simple hem. I wish I trusted myself enough to do it on my own.
I'm off today and am home by myself. it's glorious. Laundry is currently going, deep cleaned our master and bathroom. Enjoying internet time/tv while I have lunch and wait for dryer to finish so I can fold and start sheets. After the mail comes I need to call the RE to get them my new insurance info.
Rest of the week is normal work stuff. And holy crap, just counted, and only 53 more work days til summer break!
I took the train really early this morning to meet my dad, we are now sitting in the airport waiting for our flight!! I’ve been in transit since 6am, and awake since 4am. I need coffee lol!!! I have an amazing 10 days!
I went out to lunch with my brother today, which was really nice. We don't usually get together without my parents. I am also organizing my closet today, which is totally overwhelming. I own a million things and wear like five of them. If I had the money, I'd empty the whole thing and start from scratch!
H is home and brought E home. It's not snowing much yet but it's creating a nice slick layer on the roads and it's really windy. H said he might stay home tomorrow too which I'd probably prefer since we're supposed to get lots of snow! People never freak out about winter weather around here so it's been weird to see everything closing. It's a good thing, I'm much happier with people being safer!
estrellita - I remember being a kid and thinking that snow was just the coolest thing ever. It doesn't happen very often here - MAYBE once or twice a year, if that, and even then it's usually a small amount - so it was always a big deal for snow to be in the forecast. Then I grew up, and discovered how terrible snow is when you still have to be an adult and worry about adult things like how to get to work and how to avoid an accident because you still have to get to the grocery store and how to keep the power/heat from going out. lol.

Ugh yes! I hate snow because I hate driving in it, but as a kid it was fun! So I haven't been too concerned this year other than worrying about H but he's a much better snow driver than I am. I don't think I've ever seen the whole state pretty much shut down like this before, even as a kid other than probably the Halloween blizzard of 91.
So, I had a breast u/s done 2/9. At the time I was billed a $150 copay saying an ultrasound is diagnostic not a screening procedure (it was to take the place of a baseline mammogram). I have spent way too much time going back and forth between my doctor, the imaging place, and my insurance. Just this afternoon my doctor informed me that he sent new coding, called the imaging place and they still continue to give me the same run around that an ultrasound is diagnostic/can’t be screening...hang up and call the insurance the he looks at the claim and informs me that I will not be billed my copay and will be getting my money back! I think I am more happy that the imaging place was wrong than I am about the actual money...they kept insisting that there was no other way to code it and that my insurance was the problem.
estrellita- I feel like the world is ending here when things close too. But I’m not used to living in a snow that doesn’t get snow. So when it doesn’t snow everyone forgets how to drive or even live their day to day lives so they close the schools and a lot of work places down. But alas I still will always have to go to work.
wineandcheese- I am jealous of all your wine tasting. I need to find someone to go with DH hates wine. 😕
luv2rn4fun- I am glad you got the insurance stuff figured out.
So far my week has been pretty lazy, but I did work nights both sat and Sunday.
Tues- meal plan, grocery shop
Weds-no plans yet
Thursday- getting some highlights
Friday-working
I’m also going to try and organize our entrance way closer between now and Friday, go to the gym every day this week, get caught up on laundry, and start tackling our master closet. We’ve only lived here 5 months and it’s so messy.
I'm irritated at my BIL. I'm on his family cell phone account (DH has a work provided phone) so BIL is the account holder for my cell phone. Really annoying if I need to go to the store for something. We do this because it doesn't make financial sense for me to have a single line account.
I've noticed that he's not great at paying the bill on time. I get texts like every other month from Sprint saying that the payment is late, so I remind him of it. 2 days ago, I got a text saying that the account is due to be disconnected. He said he would take care of it.
Apparently, he doesn't get these texts from Sprint. Just me.
Midnight today? Disconnected. No data, no text, no phone. I walked in my front door pissed, and my H went over to his house and yelled at him. The account is paid now, but it shouldn't take multiple reminders from me. I'm not a responsible money person, but I at least mostly paid my bills on time (before DH and I were married and he took over the bills).
pooh8402- that would drive me crazy. Your phone must be set up as the primary phone, and that’s the reason that you are getting the texts. (At least I’m guessing)
Dh and I bought a tent from Costco, it’s huge (an 8 man tent) We wanted to see how easy it is to set up and it’s too big for our living room so we set it up in our rec room in the basement, lol.
We are excited for camping this year. Now to find foam mats to place under the pack n play legs.
((Hugs)) pooh8402. I would also be very mad and frustrated with this situation, possibly so much so that it would be worth getting your own line. Is there any way to split from them and go into your parents account?

We have one tent we have used for years but that was pre kids and is only really big enough for DH and I with all of our stuff. We have another tent (and a third kid tent that we use for backpacking) that I want to set up in our backyard to see how big it is (it was a hand me down from my mom). If it’s not bigger we will need to get a new tent. Ideally one that can be sectioned off so we can either divide and conquer with the boys or so they can sleep together and DH and I can sleep together.
LOL DH thinks I am crazy to being a PNP camping...your post just reassured me that i’m not 😀. We are hoping to do at least one, maybe two, camp vacations this year. Probably just 1-2 nights. I am a little worried about sleep but also L’s asthma (not sure how he would handle campfire.

So tired, but can't fall asleep. left for work at 6:45 this morning, walked in the door tonight at 9 pm. Had a wake for a great aunt an hour away. Sitting with my feet up after eating a late dinner of a lean cuisine. Still hungry, want ice cream but there's none in the house and the good ice cream places are all closed for the night.
I’m excited we have decided to go back home for Easter. (I have time off around then.)
I’m getting some highlights in my hair tomorrow, it’s been so long since I put any highlights in my hair. I’m excited but nervous about how it will look.
I’m getting a little frustrated with dh. We’ve been here for 5 months and he still hasn’t looked for a job. Urg. We are paying for daycare and I thought he was at least looking online and looking when I’m working but he mentioned to me yesterday that maybe he should update his resume. 😳 does that mean he hasn’t been looking? I’m okay with him being a sahd but then we won’t pay for full time daycare. The daycare we use would probably allow us to go Down to part time of asked. I’m ok with her in part time care to help dh. That way he could stay home with her but still have a few days to himself. Sigh.....

I would be so upset about this. Oh my gosh. Five months and he hasn't even updated his resume? What has he been doing??? Nope, time for him to make a decision one way or the other and get going. Daycare is expensive!
