Mine was a good mixture of relaxed and fun. Friday evening I fell asleep before 10, sitting in one of my armchairs, in part because the heater was on and I was really cozy. Saturday I ended up going on a date and then later meeting friends out.
Date was decent. We had good conversation but he did a couple things I thought were odd. First was switching to a different bar/restaurant for a second drink, then leaving that place, mentioning he was hungry, going to a third place (dive bar) for food, and expecting me to order my own food. It already put me off a little, but the kiss when he walked me to my car was super awkward.
The date and I walked by an area that was shut down by the cops. I texted my cop friend to see if he got called in to work for it, because it was shut down for hours, and he was there. We've had weird coincidences of being in the same place at the same time before, so laughed yesterday about it with each other.
Yesterday I got to catch up with one of my friends who's moving to another state with her boyfriend. I'll be sad to see her go but I'm hopeful for her.
Weekend was good overall. My friends dragged me out to the annual bockfest and pretty much got me drunk and fed me. Saturday, I slept in and then went to a friend's house to do laundry. Then I came home, took myself out to dinner and crashed by 9pm. Sunday the kids came back and were so happy to be home.
I gave a guy my number a weekish ago and we've been in random contact. He is really sweet.
Happy Monday! Weekend was pretty quiet. Had one call for my on-call job Friday night and by the time I got there the client was already ready to admit herself, so I really had nothing to do.
I had an offer for a dinner date on Saturday that I ended up canceling. Then I had an impromptu coffee date with probably the most bizarre guy I have ever met! Highlights included: him still being married but separated but they "might get back together in time," he's into LARPing, he breathes fire at a ren fair, has over 100 books on role playing (and not the bedroom kind), had a closet full of costumes for Comic Con, has kissed a man before and "if I were to do it again, I'd probably shave since it was so prickly," and kept telling me I was his first date in 16 years and then blurting out "you're so pretty." It wasn't bad, it was just so so so weird! I think he was really terribly nervous and the verbal diarrhea took over. On the super cool side, he's done a TED Talk and has an IMDB page for some weird movies he's been in.
Last night DS and I snuggled on the couch and watched a show on PBS about penguins which was really fascinating!

That sounds weird, tiramisu. Bummer. doriswe, that wounds like someone who would be really interesting to be friends with, but I'm not sure I'd want to date him. But there's someone out there for everyone!
The weekend was way too short! I relaxed at home Friday night. Saturday morning, we headed up for the new member orientation for the glider club, and we stopped by a winery and a brewery on the way home, which was fun. Sunday, I ran some errands, did a little work prepping my garden for the spring, taught, and did a bunch of cooking. Downside is that my mascarpone buttercream didn't turn out right, so I need to go buy more mascarpone and butter and try it again tonight. Hopefully it works this time!
Another bummer from the weekend: I ended up getting together with a guy I've been talking to for a couple of months late Saturday night. We did not have sex, but did fool around. I slept over, we cuddled, we kissed goodbye when we left, I texted in the afternoon, and I haven't heard a word since. It's really disappointing.

Oh, I could totally see hanging out with him but not dating him. He was wildly entertaining and I never knew what was going to come out of his mouth!
