I woke up today thinking it was Saturday already I was still working at 9pm last night, and today looks like another doozy.
M and I have dinner plans tonight, I have more test-driving truck shopping plans tomorrow morning, and then I need to get my old horse trailer cleaned out, photographed, and listed for sale. I really should have done that last weekend when it was 60* instead of in the snow and cold this weekend. Oops.
Besides that - my big plans involve finishing our taxes. We should be getting a pretty nice return, thanks to paying property taxes on two houses last year. (which we will then turn around and immediately spend on a new furnace and AC)
Tonight I'm going to go to Sephora after work and maybe shoe shopping.
Tomorrow, I'm going to the laundromat and then I will go home, nap, then get all purdy for a fancy dress party. The birthday party I was supposed to go to was canceled, so we'll see where the night takes me.
This weekend should be interesting. Xbf is moving out starting today and I intend to pile his stuff in a corner because he takes forever to pack. Then do some deep cleaning, order takeout and wine and watch movies on saturday.
Tonight I have a date. New guy from online. We shall see how it goes.
Sunday I'm spending time with my momma and catching up. Then a date/movie with the work guy. Trying to enjoy it for what it is at this point and be in the moment instead of worrying about it.
I ordered skincare online this morning and OMG sticker shock. This is what happens when you run out of multiple products around the same time. I will also be hitting up Sephora this afternoon because I'm out of two products. I tried a cheaper supposed dupe for my favorite corrector and it is not the same at all. My backup loose powder is also too drying right now. Oh well! Sephora will be fun!
This weekend I'm going to the March for Black Women, getting a manicure, and going to a housewarming party with a friend because there will be single guys there so she wants me to meet them. Tonight I'm getting together with a friend and Sunday will be laundromat and book club. Busy weekend!

P is OOT until Monday--woot! I think tonight may be movie and takeout as I didn't sleep well last night and was up early for meetings. Tomorrow I am getting together with a GF.
Sunday I think I may finish my taxes, considering I've spent 1/3 of the money already, haha. I'm glad I got a fat return and I get to buy a new camera and laptop (yay!) new tires (meh but needed), pay the designer for the bedroom and the rest is going in the kitchen fund.

TGIF! What a week. I took DH for his colonoscopy this morning (all clear--yay!), and we went and got gourmet breakfast tacos afterwards. They were yummy. I'll be working remotely the rest of the day while DH naps off the anesthesia. No solid plans for this weekend, but I do need to get seeds planted for the veggie garden and prep meals for the week. I'm also debating making a few pies for pi day on Wednesday. I'm sure the house could use a good cleaning, too, so we won't be bored this weekend despite not really having plans.

udscoobychick, man your DH is hardcore to go out for breakfast. I was always so tired from anesthesia that I'd hit up some take out place and go straight home.
Funny memory...after my second cancer surgery, I begged my mom to take me to McDonald's. I was starving as my surgery was late in the day. I ordered a large shamrock shake and large fries. My mom was yelling at me, saying I was going to throw up and to not eat it all. I kept saying "no, I won't! No, I won't!" To prove her wrong I ate and drank it all...and didn't throw up. Hahaha.

chalupa, I get super nauseous from anesthesia but I don't get sick. Once I learned that I told them upfront so they'd give me IV Zofran. Other than being tired, I usually woke up feeling great.

That is my stomach WITH the anti-nausea in my IV. LOL. I usually roll in all "I haven't eaten since freaking midnight and I'm lightheaded, damnit!". Clearly I am a delight. SaveSave
