When I see someone I know (or knew in the past) on national TV it gets me really excited as if I am only 1 degree away from a potential celebrity (like Ragan on Big Brother). But that still means I am a nobody, even if I know that person.
I'm a sports geek, so I get super excited while watching games that it's comical to my other girl friends who have no interest in football and think it's strange that my mood is totally affected by the outcome of a game.
Cleanliness! We moved into a place where the guy before us didn't clean .. like, ever. There are stains that bleach can't get out. awful. When we get new things that are clean and not icky - I am a happy happy human. Far too many things really get me grossed out.. to the point of needing a shower.
Really great music. I love when I find the other music geek at a party and spend hours going, "Oh, have you heard X?!"
This, for sure. I listen to a strange mix, but apparently my boss listens to the same weird mix...daily, we sit around all "OMG, you have to listen to this." I'm trying to get him to like Fun. though b/c they're doing a free show up in Santa Fe in a couple of weeks, but it's on the ONE night that we have to stay late...I'm thinking that if he wants to go to the concert too, he'll be more on board with me asking someone else to take my place that night. ;-)
And it goes without saying, but I love finding people who understand and love good, craft beer. Especially other chicks.

Ooh, me too! (We have an imperial IPA brewing right now that I'm super excited about).

I'm halfway tempted to start driving in your direction now.
We've had brewing equipment in our garage for the past several months, we just haven't gotten around to replacing the hoses so it's gone untouched. I'm hoping to get something going over the next couple of weeks!

TV shows, especially sci-fi. Music, the same way as GLW and Duff. Food, oh my gawd, food, especially from famous/infamous restaurants. Especially, especially, with a well-paired alcohol. I LOVE drink/food combos.
Wine and music pairing. I know it sounds odd, but there is a winery around here (http://www.notavivavineyards.com/) that this is there belief, and the wine is fantastic! It amazing to sit, listen to a concert there and have a bottle of wine.

Along the lines of food, I get stupid excited when I see restaurants open near my area that I have grown to love from other places. For example, they opened a Freebirds burrito place, a Chuy's, and soon opening a Rudy's BBQ all within 5 mins drive work. Those are all places I grew to love while living in Austin but weren't as convenient here until recently. I actually did a happy dance in my car the second I saw the Freebirds sign go up last year.

Dude. Rudy's is yum. I don't know that it's what I would define as TX BBQ, but, yum, no less.
Uh oh! I feel a BBQ road trip in the future! Lockhart has the best... you don't even need sauce
Done. I saw a show where they compared Smitty's and Kreuz -- come to find out they're owned by brother and sister. I want to try Black's though. If we do a BBQ weekend, we're going to have to go to Salt Lick

Food. I'm sort of a baking fanatic and I take my desserts seriously. No feeding me store bought shit! Video games, but I prefer oldschool. I'm an NES nerd at heart. Gimme original Super Mario and Mega Man any day! I also love organizing. I wish my folders had folders. I love labels and spreadsheets like nothing else. I made an Excel spreadsheet that I tracked for months for our big move.
