Eyeshadow primer recs that aren’t UD

I am having some kind of reaction on my eyelids and I think it’s the UD primer 😬 Are there any other brands I should try?

I have a few different NYX ones and they work well. And are cheap!

My lids react to something in UD's formula too, and I've had a lot of luck with Lorac's formula.

I recently got a sample of Laura Mercier eye basics in my Play box. I really like it! I even use it when I'm not wearing eye shadow to even out skin tone.

I don't like the UD primers either. Their formula just doesn't work for me.

Smashbox in the silver tube works the best for me. UD creases like crazy on my eyes for some reason.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance is on my list to try as soon as I finally finish up all the UD that seems to self-perpetuate in my makeup bag.

My favorite is Too Faced but lately I’ve just been blending my concealer onto my eyelids. I get a little creasing by the end of the day but I don’t mind and it’s just quicker doing that.

I also use the Smashbox and really like it.  Too Faced is good too.  I never got the hype for the UD one.

Too faced works well for me but is very drying. I save it for special occasions. I can’t use UD either. For every day, i use MAC paint pot (?) (I think it is called) in “painterly” color. It is not drying and holds my shadow pretty well.

I had this same issue last year. I also recommend scrubbing your eyelids with the ocusoft lid scrub product. Mine was ultimately an allergy on my eyelids to the UD product and the lid scrub was dermatologist recommended but otc and helped a ton.

Too faced works well for me. I also use Mac pro wear paint pot and like it a lot too for evening out my lids

Ditto Milani! Great for only $6! I had to throw away my UD when it separated when I moved from a dry to humid climate. No issues.

I'm allergic to the UD one as well as the Too Faced one.

I use MAC paint pot in painterly. It works really well no creasing for me. Plus the pot itself lasts a long time.

I agree with the Mac Paint Pot suggestions. I use the color Soft Ochre. A Mac consultant suggested it to me because I have a more yellow tone to my skin. Painterly is a little more pinkish/cool tone.
