With your budget, I'd consider Mexico (just go adults-only), Hawaii (good mix of relaxing and go go go), maybe Belize? You could go to Costa Rica or rent a villa on St. John and island hop. We have the school calendar situation too, so we just choose non-kid friendly hotels. We're doing a week in Jamaica this year, but have done Mexico, Dominican Republic, Kauai, London/Paris, a Caribbean cruise.

I second (or third) Hawaii, though you might need to dip into your international budget for it, depending how luxuriously you want to do it and considering airfare prices. I don't think you will get many, if any, spring breakers all the way out there.
Costa Rica? I know nothing about the climate that time of the year but I have friends who have gone in the summer and absolutely loved it. Another not very popular Spring Break destination.
I think with Mexico or places in the Caribbean like Jamaica you will run into spring breakers/lots of crowds. Even though college kids may not choose to stay at an adults-only resort, they technically would be of the age to do so, so you may not escape them completely there.
