Silhouette starter bundle - good deal?

Hi! Amazon has the Silhouette start bundle on sale today for $140. Is this a good deal? I'm a pretty crafty person and know I would get use out of this for nursery decor, school stuff, cards, etc. I'm also pretty frugal and it's a lot of money to drop at one time. I have quite a bit saved up from my Christmas money, and my birthday is next week so I'd like to get myself a new toy.

The portrait is the smaller of the two. It’s not a bad price on it, but you may want to compare the cut size of the portrait vs the cameo.

I can't think of reasons I'd need to cut items larger than 8", so at this point I don't foresee an issue. Even birthday banners, etc. can be done on an 8x11" piece of paper.

I make boxes sometimes that are folded from a piece of 12x12 cardstock. Or cram as many emojis on to a 12x12 sheet of cardstock as I can. Most vinyl is sold in 12x12 or 12x15 pieces but trimming it isn’t hard. They sell card stock in multiple sizes too.

I don’t think I’d feel limited by the 8” until I tried to do an adult tshirt design, but that’s not your plans, right?

Thank you! I don't plan on doing any tshirts at this point, but that is something to consider in the future.
