I think she should have to call UHC and spend days on the phone fixing it. They are welcome to conference me in when needed, but her account needs to go away.
She should lose extras because she did this without permission - we don’t use them for RX, Medical, dental or vision so I have no idea why she even tried to use UHC. It’s only flex spending.
If she refuses to fix it DH should fly up and drive the car we bought her home. Because frankly my time is more valuable than hers and she made the mess.
To me, it’s that simple. My kids would have gotten a truly awful earful by this point. And they would be falling all over themselves to fix it. Or they would suffer the consequences.
I think DH would have a coronary if I suggested that. I may tell him we hold back half the monthly money for four months and she has to work to cover it. It’s the same thing, but seems less abrasive.
I’m hoping it all comes together - but now, I need to start claims to camps we have already done and I can’t - because I don’t have access. Because it isn’t “his money” DH would just not do it if I delegated it. There are no natural consequences at my disposal, and it sucks.
Dear Boxing, I’m leaving the house and am going for the first time in 5 months. Please don’t kill me! Please be stations I know how to do and no TREX! More nervous than a virgin on prom night

Dear DD,
I’m sorry you didn’t get to place very much in your basketball tournament and you lost to a really good team but I’m very happy I don’t have to do after school pickups or attend an athletic event for a whole two weeks.
Signed, Tired Mom
Dear Kids,
Take it easy on me next week. I know we were supposed to go to TX for spring break but since grandpa was sick, I didn’t want to make plans and now it’s too late. It’s not a bad thing that we’re not going anywhere and “everyone else” is. It’s good to be bored sometimes. I’ll take a day off so we can do something fun.

Dear Powers that Be,
I'm dismayed at the news of a local, 3rd-generation family-owned business closing its doors because property taxes have gotten too high. And that when they asked for relief, both city and county pointed to the other entity as the responsible party.
My own taxes have increased much faster than I anticipated. Please let this year be a fluke. I thought I had a solid financial plan going forward, but this is making me nervous. I do not want to be taxed out of my home.
