I need one bootleg pair and one skinny pair. I like them stretchy b/c I'm terrible at returning things that don't fit. My preferred inseam is 31. I have no idea what size I'm wearing these days, but my 12s were getting tight. So thinking 14s. I very well may be wearing a 16, but because I'm caught in a neverending cycle of thinking I'm going to lose weight soon, I'm going with 14.
I've checked out JCP and wasn't thrilled. Anyone know of any sales or have a favorite place they shop for jeans?
I swear by the Levi Mid Rise skinny jeans. They're not super skin tight skinny, but they look good tucked into boots and with ballet flats or sandals. They're a nice quality too - durable denim, not too stretchy so that they wear out fast.
And then surprisingly enough, I really like the Target Mossimo high rise skinny jeans. Much tighter, and I buy them in the "short" length so that they look good with ankle booties.

I’ve been wearing the Vera Wang jeans from Kohl’s. They have both bootcut and skinny and are typically on sale for $35. I am looking for a new brand to add to my collection because these can loosen during the day and I feel like I’m constantly pulling them up.
Articles of Society are my favorite brand for jeans. They are incredibly comfortable! They do stretch so I would order a size down. They have a skinny pair on sale right now for 40% off:
Nordstrom Rack has a great selection of jeans. I love Kut from the Kloth, even though their spelling is dumb. I also love Hudson jeans, but they are pricey.
I took m mommyatty, advice last year and found my skinny jeans at Nordstrom Rack. I really liked that they did size X in 29/30/31/32/33 inseam so I could get the length that I needed vs the petite, regular tall deal. I need to shop for another pair.
I don’t like wearing pants in general, and usually find jeans uncomfortable, but recently bought some Pilcro jeans from Anthropologie and they’re amazing. Not cheap though.
