So I think my OB lives in my neighborhood. My H saw a couple posts on NextDoor yesterday where the poster had her exact name. She has a common first name, but spelled in an uncommon way, combined with the same last name... seems like a good chance it's her. We were joking that if I go into labor early again this time we'll just go knock on her door LOL.
Congrats, @daylily !!! I'm so glad the induction went well! I loooooove her name. Louisa is probably my favorite girl name, but I could never get DH on board.
Congrats @daylily, so happy for you and your family! Has big brother met her yet?
Yes! This afternoon, once we were discharged. It went well! He is clearly in love with her but also a little needier than usual. He and DH are working on a new Lego set.
We left the hospital a day early today. Part of me wishes we were still there honestly, with nothing to do but rest, order room service and press the call button for help from the nurses. But with the holiday weekend and school closed we didn't have much choice without care for DS. So today it was. I'm trying to take it easy!
Oh no, I wish I had known! I would have been happy to come keep an eye on him for you guys!

My neighbor delivered my son and 6 other babies in our 30 hour neighborhood! She is known to strip membranes at home and check progress at home while laboring .
Y'all! We had our scan today at 8w5d, and OMG! Baby was so much bigger this time, and as soon as we saw it on the screen it wiggled back and forth!!! I about died from the cuteness! Oh my gosh I am so happy today! Heartbeat was 171 so that seems good too.
They did see a couple small little spots of possible bleeding like sch, but I haven't had any bleeding since that one day after my first scan and the doctor isn't worried about it. He says they seem to see a lot of these on earlier scans and they tend to disappear by 12 weeks, and they are wondering how many of these are just incidental findings since they tend to do early scans with pretty advanced equipment, so maybe these are more common in general but just not being seen in pregnancies that don't have so much early monitoring.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
We had our maternity photos today. I wasn’t super keen on doing them but my mom insisted so we did. We used our wedding photographer and I love her so I am excited to see how they turned out. We also have her booked for a lifestyle shoot at home when baby is about 2 months that will coincide with our 5th wedding anniversary and then again for when baby is 6 months old. Might be a big extra but I love photos lol.
