whatcha' up to this wednesday?

Hi all! I've been MIA for a bit. Last week I was in Florida working from Monday until Thursday.  I worked such long days 8-10:30 for one of them. I was exhausted when I got back. Only to turn around and be asked to be a last minute maid of honor in a wedding on Saturday. Also adding that I had my MIL intown on Friday-Sunday. I completely crashed Sunday afternoon.

Now that I have a bit more energy and have caught up on my sleep I'm feeling better. 

I am getting so excited. I have lost 15.6lbs and can almost say next month I'll be in Thailand. I CAN NOT wait. Mostly I am excited about the weight loss. It's been hard going but It feels so nice to wear things that have been stashed in my closet for ages collecting dust and taunting me.

I'm up early to do a sunrise-ish hike.

Think I'm supposed to have a date tonight but we haven't talked since we set it up, so I have no idea what time or where. That means I think it probably won't happen, but we'll see.

The guy I hiked with is, if course, still on my mind. Trying to not think too much about that one and instead just get out and enjoy myself.

Work...lame lol! I haven't felt great in a week, so I haven't worked out at all and now am feeling all blah. I'm planning to get my ass to yoga tomorrow morning. Had a 2nd date yesterday and it went well. He asked about date #3 already, so that's good.

I'm currently trying to figure out how to change my job so it actually makes sense.

Working. We received a giant file on Monday and we'll hopefully get through the last of it today.

I am tired, so tired.

Is the wedding last minute neonpink? Or just the need for attendants? I'm so curious how a request like this comes up last minute!

What's the struggle with the guy tiramisu? Maybe I just missed the backstory.

Work is insane right now which is why I haven't been around much. Happy Humpday everyone!

Add me to the work list. The client kept asking for more and more detail to be included in some abstracts that I need to submit for a conference, so I included it so they would approve them for submission. Well, I'm trying to submit them now, and the conference apparently limits abstracts to 1700 characters. The first abstract was 4600 characters. So, major re-writing is occurring here.

We have a new person joining our team next week and she’s sitting with me early on to review our audit process. I still need to write out the process.

Otherwise I’m patiently waiting for the weather to improve. I’m over the gloom.

I had a nice long weekend with DD, and today is my first day back at work. Add me to the work is blah camp. I just can't get focused. At least the day is half over. Almost!

Hope the weather improves near you soon, idahome! I think we're FINALLY done with our ridiculously cold spring...I'm not seeing any below-freezing lows in the 10-day forecast. Woo hoo!

kaneen, The girl that was the Maid of Honor couldn't make it down from New York. It was a backyard wedding with a seersucker theme so it all worked out.

kaneen it's because the guy is the cop I've off and on talked to for like a year and a half now but only went on one date with. Basically he's a bit of an idiot and in denial. I date other people, but do care about him still.
