I need to clean the fridge out and make a menu plan for the next couple weeks. I need to get some ideas for food so the girls and I don't live off take out and kid food the entire time. I just hate cooking when it's a toss up on who will eat it.
wineandcheese & estrellita It snowed SO badly last Sunday. And supposed to again today. I’m super annoyed too!!!! I was supposed to drive home to WI today, but it’s callimg for 70-90% chance of snow in all the cities I have to drive through..... so... now I have to leave tomorrow. Damn snow. I feel you guys. We haven’t had a ton of snow all year except now when it’s frickin April!

What if you made a few meals that you enjoy (and maybe that the girls might eat a little of) and then have plenty of easy kid food available? That way you get to eat what you want (and it would last a couple days so you don’t always have to cook) and it won’t be too much work if they eat kid food. Whatever makes life easy for you these next two weeks. My kids eat a lot of kid food...some days it’s just so much easier to make food for them and then make our food (I always offer what we are eating too but if I have to do dinner solo then I don’t want to be frustrated over them not eating). They also get lots of pouches (usually one for lunch and dinner each) and they are great about eating fruit so it’s not like they only eat junk (their diet is pretty healthy most of the time...just add in hot dogs and chicken nuggets, and the occasional “treats” and it gets thrown off to more of a balance).
ETA: I hope these next two weeks go by really fast for you. ((Hugs))
