Last night I got up the courage to kind of ask a guy out/to get together (in a vague way) and he said yes. Not sure when it'll happen just yet, but I'm still excited.
Tonight I'm getting together with a friend who's moving out of state tomorrow. We're going to watch the sunset and get a drink. I may also go to a friend's birthday party after that, depending on timing.
Saturday I'm getting together with a friend in the evening. Sunday I have book club and mentally preparing myself for the week ahead.

TGIFFFFF!
Our designer is coming over tonight with our curtains, so we will be hanging those.
Tomorrow, my mom and my sister are coming over and I'm trying on the three dresses, then we have an appointment to look at the fourth dress. Later I'm (and maybe P) are going over to a friend's house for dinner. Sunday, nothing much planned. I may go see a cover band with someone, but she has a history of bailing on plans so maybe not.
I say it all the time, but LONGEST WEEK EVER. I had 4 days of all-day meetings, and I'm drained. I am only half paying attention to my inbox today because I'm burnt out. And there's some nonsense about more snow/ice tonight.
But last night M bought me a gift certificate to my favorite massage place, to make my week better. Awwww <3
I have a day full of errands tomorrow, and then I'm spending most of Sunday at a tack swap (basically a garage sale for horse stuff), so hopefully that takes care of the enormous pile of stuff I never use. I didn't think I had enough to justify a full vendor's table at the swap, but since I have 2 overflowing laundry hampers of items ready to go, I think I'll have that table with filled no problem (insert marginally embarrassed face here. Yes, I totally needed those 6 saddle pads I never even put on the horse and all the breeches I wore once and hated). It will be nice to have that corner of the basement back.
But next week? Next week will be glorious. I'm only working 3.5 days, and then off for a long birthday weekend at a horse show. I'm actually hoping that forecast gets COOLER, because right now it's supposed to be 70* where we're headed, and that's too hot too quickly for Owen and I, who've been living in what feels like the 182nd week of winter.
I'm flying to Orlando for my niece's baby shower tomorrow. There's what looks like it is going to be a hotdog stand set up in the SkyClub. I wish they had it up and running because now I want a hotdog damnit!
Tonight I'm having dinner with a friend in Orlando. Tomorrow is the baby shower. Sunday I'll catch up on some work and do laundry. Exciting weekend, I know.
Yep. Snow the week of, 25* the day of competition. It was so cold that the skin on my face and neck got chapped and peeled for a week.
Same farm, 3 weeks later, 70* forecast. Horse is still sporting most of his winter woolly coat, so he is going to overheat. Spring is so much fun! SaveSave
