I though I would ask here if anyone has used for relationship counseling? Can they work around inconsistent schedules often we don't know when my h is getting off work and sometimes it is last minute that he has to stay late or work weekends. He is not in a position to ask for a consistent time off work for counseling because we'll I don't think he would get it, and also his current command would put him through hell if they knew. Trust me on this talking to his command about this is not a good option.
Military one source acts like a ln employee assistance program, so they connect you with local therapists. So availability and flexibility would depend on the provider. You could also try Militart Family Life Consultants (MFLC) -Air Force (don’t know of other branches have this/what they’re called). They’re trained therapists but do very low level intervention stuff. They’ll meet you any where but your house and have very flexible hours. Using them depends on what level of therapy you need, of course. But I tell a lot of people to start there
Thanks beans. I will have to connect with one source and see what the provider says. We don't have mflc. We just need a little guidance on dealing with life and job stressors and how it affects our relationship.
