I'm starting my first cycle of letrozole today (CD5). I'm feeling super nervous because I had a bad reaction to my dinner last night, so my stomach is sensitive and now I'm going to throw a new med at it. Fingers crossed that I don't have any GI issues, because I'm kind of freaking out about it.
Acupuncture on Friday.
A bunch of my family is getting together for a work/chores/cleanning day at my grandma's house on Saturday.
Hoping to go see A Quiet Place with H at some point during the weekend. Trying to avoid spoilers before we can get to the theater to see it.
I'm skipping garden club on Wednesday because this month's meeting sounds like the most pretentious event ever. It's a tasting of sorts, and the meeting invite was just so over the top.
We have IKEA furniture arriving Friday so assembling all of that fun stuff.

We're in Chicago until Thursday, once we get home Fri afternoon the rest of the day and Sat & Sun has to be major packing. My parents come on Sunday, closing on Monday.
Once the snow (ugh) stops I think DH and I are going to take advantage of Grandma watching R and go out for a lunch date and just run some errands, including the Polish grocery store. Food is always one of my favorite parts of visiting. I know for sure Lou Malnati's is on the agenda as it always is (and always should be)
I already ran my errands this morning and now trying to get everything ready for the week.
DH is barely home this week so not much going on. I work my normal schedule. Friday I may go to a local tattoo parlor for their Friday the 13th event to see if there’s anything I would get.
Good luck katespade! I hope your stomach settles and the new drug doesn’t add any side effects.
HoneySpider- have a wonderful vacation and good luck packing when you get home!
Today- we went for a run and played at the park before it got too hot! It’s supposed to be 90 here today (and 85 tomorrow and I think Sat). Did a load of laundry and likely going to frozen yogurt later this afternoon!
Tomorrow- run, park, last of the grocery shopping, make dinner, and maybe the mall in the afternoon.
Wednesday- preschool/trike a thon. Going to stay to watch and then go for a run.
Thursday- hoping to go rob disneyland! The forecast can’t make up its mind whether it’s going to be windy or not. Won’t go if it’s going to be bad weather.
Friday- preschool and run day. Chores to get the house clean for the weekend.
Weekend- I would love to go for a run at the harbor so might try to convince DH to go paddle boarding!
I’m in Wisconsin all week while hubs is on week 6 at the academy. SO excited for him to be done!! Only 1 week to go after this. I have a fun week planned with my fam while I’m here!
Randomly got it in my head to chop off my hair today. Can't decide whether or not to do it. My sisters were split 50/50.
Pros: Could fix botched hair from last cut, lighter weight, faster dry, cheaper to color, if done right would look more professional
Cons: Can't braid it, feel like it makes me look younger, I look more like my mom, huge potential for a worse fail (my hair is so thick most stylists don't manage to cut it right...)
katespade Open to suggestions. My botched layers are just under my chin, so I assume to make the cut symmetrical and intentional looking the bottom would be just under my shoulders?
HoneySpider, Thanks When they cut it right I like it too. I've just been hating it lately
amaranth - I have a lob and I looooove it. Having it shaped like that has taken off so much weight in the back without losing the overall look of the length as I'm growing it out. Something like that might also give you a little bit of room to play around with how short you want to go. You could do just under shoulder length in the back, which would leave a bit of extra length in the front to soften the dramatic change.
amaranth I just got my last botched haircut fixed. I agree, it's tough to find someone who can manage thick hair. Most recent cut is an improvement...I think I will give this guy a few tries to get it right.
As far as length goes, my thought on that has always been hair grows back
I had a long post typed out and provides proboards ate it. Oh well.
It's my birthday and I spent most of the day irritated at E. I did get to see some of my old coworkers, so that was really nice. Tomorrow we're heading back home after a weekend with my family.
H went down to the basement and came back up after we got home and told me there were two fairly large spots of blood on the floor and in the middle of one was a twist tie. Wtf! I'm not sure which cat it was. H called the vet and they said to watch for them to stop eating or drinking and bring them in if that happens. They both seem ok so I'm hoping it just looks worse than it really is
Last week was a busy one. We left the Thursday before Easter to go back to our hometown for 11 days. It was a lot of fun. But I’m exhausted now and my one day off at home before work starts is not enough. Lol!
My mom and I booked a trip for the weekend of May 25-27. It’s an outdoor woman’s camp. Basically like a Sleep away camp but for adults, you get to do 4 activities over the course of the weekend, things like fishing, kayaking, archery, hunting, and outdoor cooking. We got to choose our top 10 choices then they put you in the ones that have openings based on order of application. I am excited to see what we get.
I am a little nervous how dh will do with dd but I’m sure he will be fine!
pooh8402- happy birthday! Sorry you had a rough day with E.
amaranth- I love your long hair too! But, my hair is also annoying me lately and I am about to chop it off. I agree with ewall...it always grows back! My only requirement is that it has to be able to go in a ponytail 😀
awick14- your girls weekend sounds amazing! So excited for you friend! I am sure your DH will do great!
A bunch of local tattoo studios around here are doing Friday the 13th specials. I found 2 that have designs I like so I’m planning on getting 2 small tattoos tomorrow. It’s been forever since I got my last one and have been itching for another one for awhile.
DH is away tonight for work. I planned on lifetime movies, a healthy salad and a few glasses of wine. Instead I ate enlightened protein ice cream, best low calorie ice cream I have tried, watched Jersey Shore and now watching Biodome. I skipped the wine completely surprisingly. I’m actually enjoying myself lol.
