Well that's a new one. It's gross outside, snowing/sleeting/whatever outside, windy, etc. We're just sitting here watching TV and suddenly we hear some popping noises and the power goes out after flickering a few times. Comes back on after a minute but I just about flipped out because I had no idea what the noise was! H went to investigate and found that just down the street, a power line is broken on the top. By the time he saw it, the cops had shown up and started blocking the road (the one that goes behind our house). Crazy! Hopefully they can get out there and fix it quick!

Had a great day so far with H! We went and had the tires on his truck switched from his snow tires to his all season ones. We then went to the winery for lunch and wine, then for ice cream. Our fire house is under construction so they put up our patch design on the building so we stopped to see it. It looks awesome! We are now home, H is napping and I’m drinking a yummy pineapple coconut water to rehydrate. Going to start dinner soon and open a bottle of wine to go with it. Such a relaxing and beautiful Saturday before the temperature drops and we have freezing rain and snow tonight and tomorrow.

Power has been good since last night, so they must have fixed it. But it's sooo gross out. I was seeing some things on FB showing over a foot of snow about an hour or so south of us. We haven't gotten quite that much but it's super windy so I'm sure it's icy. I'm not leaving the house unless I have to!
