I have been overwhelmed lately. I have had and continue to have a lot of major tasks to juggle in a not-enough-time time frame, plus just emotional stresses of worrying about some loved ones. Literally taking a hammer to a wall was at least a good follow up to figuratively talking to a brick wall (a.k.a. trying to straighten out medical billing that got messed up). For the record, I wasn't willy nilly destroying my wall; I am working on a remodel. Lol.
I'm going to try to fit time in for this week's self-care challenge.
DH and I have been so busy because of all of the kids' activities. DD1's soccer coach is crazy. He scheduled a bunch of extra practices in the first two weeks of the season, and we're also trying to help DD prepare for swim team tryouts. She didn't pass the test last year to make the team because she was so nervous that she sabotaged herself. She wants to try again this year, so we're trying to help her, but that means adding another thing to our schedule. DH and I saw each other for 5 minutes last night for a kid hand-off, and that's it.

I started getting things done. I even knocked enough stuff off my to-do list to re-write it. DH and I are suppose to hang out sometime this weekend and go over stuff that we need to get done. We're on opposite schedules for the most part so it's kind of hard to get together. I've also been trying to keep in touch better with friends. That's been one of my goals this year.
