Makeup wipes that don't leave residue on face?

For long international flights and layovers, my face can get sweaty. From waiting in long custom lines, to hurrying to get to the gate, etc. I want to be able to freshen up my face, but I haven't met a face wipe that cleans without leaving some kind of residue on my face. I feel like I need to wash my face after using a wipe.

I've thought about bringing a small bottle of micellar water + cotton rounds, but wipes would be easier and less stuff to carry.

Is there a makeup wipe out there that cleans the face without feeling tacky/residue-y?

Have you tried the Simple wipes?

Simple Micellar wipes (white packaging) or Cleansing wipes (green packaging)?

I've used: Simple Regeneration Cleansing Wipes Age Resisting and Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes
Both are great (though I tend toward the regeneration ones at this point).

I was going to say the Simple Wipes too. I’ve also poured it on cotton rounds and put them in a ziplock before-sort of DIY wipes and that worked surprisingly well.

I’d recommend any of the wipes with micellar already in them. I haven’t noticed any residue.

I'm a little late but the green packaged simple wipes are the best for no residue for sure.

I like the Simple wipes too, but will also use natural baby wipes sometimes too.

I like the Simple micellar wipes and the Pond's original wipes.
