Friday night we did a happy hour with some friends to celebrate my birthday. Saturday there was a big ice storm predicted so we braved the grocery store and then just hunkered down. Turns out there was barely anything. Lol. Got a few workouts in this weekend. Also completely cleaned out my closet and got rid of a TON of stuff that either didn't fit anymore or I just don't wear. It felt good to purge!
I'm sofa king tired and my everything hurts! I swear my weekend was mostly shoveling. We got about a foot of snow and it's STILL snowing. And it's heavy and I'm a moron and put my snowblower away a few weeks ago and didn't bring it back out when I heard the rumblings of this blizzard. I currently am nursing blood blisters on both hands from all the shoveling. They cancelled school today because the roads are still crap so I left a note for DS to shovel!
The only other thing I did was go to my friend's sweet 16 party where the dj was flirty with me. He ended up asking my friend for my number and we've been texting and talked on the phone. He wants to see me again but not sure when that will happen since I'm at a conference most of this week and then have plans this weekend.
My weekend was good. I ended up doing a little more than I'd planned which was nice.
I've been feeling like I'm getting warm easily, feeling a little weak and light-headed. It gets better with water and food, but it's not like I'm doing anything that differently except for taking Sudafed. My digestive system has also been a little unhappy. It's weird. So I'm going to try today without Sudafed and see if I feel any better. The weak, nauseated, warm feelings are no fun.

Oh man, I hope your hands feel better soon, doriswe! Any chance you can pay a neighborhood teen to do any remaining shoveling?
The weekend was good...I did some planting on Friday night. DH and I went out for a ride on our motorcycles Saturday morning before the wine festival. Got home from the festival and was hungry, so I found some cheddar bacon brats in the freezer, made homemade pretzel dough, and cooked up pretzel-wrapped cheddar bacon brats for DH and me. They were every bit as delicious as they sound. Then I made stromboli with homemade pizza dough, because I like to cook/bake when I've been drinking. Sunday was normal teaching stuff and a little bit of work. Thankfully, we did not lose power in the thunderstorms.

Random: I'm wearing a skirt today that I was SO excited fit when I put it on this morning...I bought it last spring or so but then gained some weight last summer, so I didn't think it fit any more. Well, halfway through the day, I'm regretting wearing it, because it feels like it's cutting me in half at the waist. Ugh. At least I look cute.

bullygirl979, here you go! We got a free pack as a promo when DH ordered bacon from there one time. They make really good bacon, so he buys it from there every couple months and keeps it in the freezer. They're almost always running a promo where you get a pack of something free or 10% off.

Oh, hey! I forgot to share the best thing about my clothing purge. I found all my "skinny shorts" that I haven't been able to wear in YEARS and all but one pair fit me now YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
doriswe , where is your snowblower that you can't get to it?
I put it in the shed a few weeks ago because it was hard for DS to get his bike out of the garage with it in there. I thought about getting it back out, before the blizzard, but I thought they were lying to me about the amount lol!

If you have a snowblower with tracks (think like a snowmobile) you can get it out without damaging your lawn. P makes a path for the dog with ours so she has somewhere to pee.

No tracks on mine, unfortunately. Plus we got so much snow, the door to my shed is shut up tight.
Happy Monday everyone! I slept crappy last night too. Went to bed around 11pm and woke up at 3am. I often wake up around that time to pee but almost always just fall right back to sleep. Not last night. Tossed and turned for 3 hours till I finally got up at 6am.
My weekend was really nice. Friday night I met up with some friends to celebrate a birthday. Just had dinner and a few drinks and was hope and in bed fairly early. Got up Saturday morning and took the pup for a really long walk. I mean like, an hour and a half. Poor guy was wiped when we got done but that was kinda my point. He definitely has the energy level of a puppy. Then I did some yoga. In the afternoon I met some friends at a festival. Ate all kinds of festival food which was so yummy. I was fat and happy Saturday night so I just stayed in on the couch.
Sunday it rained all day long so I cleaned, did a little shopping, and then just sat my ass on the couch until I was ready to go to bed.
