What’s going on this week??

H had another phone interview that went well and he had another sometime later in the week. We are hoping one will hire him.

Today is my mom’s birthday and I’m hosting a birthday party for her on Saturday. I just started planning Saturday and everyone rsvped yes. Now to menu plan.

Hubs left for his LAST WEEK AWAY. Amen. I am working Tuesday and Wednesday and then leaving to go to the town where H is for the fire academy. His graduation is on Friday, but wanted to go down a few days early. One of my best friends lives there so we are hanging all day Thursday. It’ll be so nice to getaway

Then Friday, H graduation ceremony, cannot wait!!!!

No plans! Although I apparently thought this weekend didn't exist when I was trying to make plans to go out to dinner with my parents. We're going to be down their direction next weekend for a birthday party but for some reason I just skipped ahead and thought the 29th was this weekend. So we might still meet up with my parents on Sat but I'm not sure.

Other than that, just dealing with snow. I'm so over it!!

Today- bagels/groceries, 5.5 mile run, park, grilling lots of food for dinner and leftovers
Tuesday- run and park
Wednesday- preschool, L’s 18 month appointment,preschool enrollment appointment
Thursday- Disneyland with BFF, her kids, and mom! We are going when they open and I plan to only stay a few hours so we can be home for the boys to nap.
Friday- preschool. It’s chapel day so I will stay and then we need to be back early for their parade. Will run during the break.

No plans for the weekend but I will need to run at least 1x. Would like to go to church too and maybe a family hike!

We closed on our house this morning! This whole week is going to be busy with going back and forth and moving over some of the smaller stuff, plus DH & I are both super busy with work this week which is not great timing but what can you do.

Doctor appointment today, dentist on Wednesday.

Vacation day on Wednesday so I can attend our bi-annual volunteer event...swapping out all the winter clothes for spring and summer.

Random: I did the grocery shopping this week and forgot to buy all of DH's regular breakfast and lunch stuff. I feel so bad! Like just totally blanked. Uhhh... sorry you don't have any food...

I have a cold and I am miserable....it's the kind where your whole face hurts, my ears, jaw, teeth, everything. I could barely sleep because of it so now I'm exhausted too.

My old hospital is closing their L&D services! 79 employees, many of whom I consider close friends, just lost their jobs.

Sounds like a sinus infection. When I get the teeth pain, that's my cue to see my ent.

ewall Thanks for asking. He gets back Saturday night, so 4 more full days. It's been going pretty well. I've only sat on the couch and cried once from being overwhelmed, so I call that a pretty big win with this being the first work trip since C was born. I've just been exhausted from no breaks. I went to sleep at 9 last night.

I've been back at work a week and a half now. I had to learn a whole new system on top of remembering how to do my job, but so far that's been going great! My boss asked me today to move up to some more difficult work! It's not a promotion exactly, just slightly different work, though doing this work will probably help with raises in the future. It's pretty close to as "high up" as far as the work in my department goes other than one other group (which is work I don't really want to do, lol. Some of it sounds fun but talking to customers, especially in the capacity they do.. nope!). I'm excited and nervous for the change, especially so soon, but they really need people!

bk1- you are rocking it friend! Praying the next 4 days go by fast! And LOL...the only days I am up past 9 are on the weekends. We usually head to bed anywhere 8-9p depending on the day and how tired we are.

I’m working wed-sat this week. My brother and his wife are going to be in our town this weekend, as well as my SIL and her H. I am excited to see them all and show them our place. (They haven’t been here since we moved.)

DS has it too, it seems to just be a cold fortunately. I'm feeling a little better today thank goodness.

Anyone been having major issues with ebates? None of my purchases ever get credited anymore. I even had one a few weeks back I put in a request for, they said they credited it, but it never showed up. That has never happened.

I don't use it a ton but will probably just start going through my credit card rewards again.

Also, Amazon screwed up my last S&S order and the USPS is still delivering my mail even though I have a forward in. I called them this morning and was told there is only one person in the office who can look up a change of address and he had stepped out, to call back in an hour. I've called 6 times since and they never answer the phone.

Why is everyone out to get me lol.

HoneySpider I pretty much never have a good experience with USPS, lol. Hope things start going better, that's a lot of annoying things all at once!

estrellita, yeah the last few times I've moved they have royally screwed up my forward. I don't know why. I think all of the automation has actually made things worse.

Back to work today. I do not feel like being here and the guy I’m working with is not my favorite person. This will make for a lo 4 days.
