estrellita- I hope A is doing better today! Sick babies are so hard 🙁
Both boys still have a cold but nothing that is slowing them down too much. I am doing breathing treatments on L (and occasionally for C). I also have it and it’s in my lungs again but not bad (probably never got rid of the last virus 100%.
I talked to one of our friends who SAH and asked about taking L for the MD tea. Her son is also in preschool during that time (and she watches our other friends kids that day) but sometimes her DH is home because he has far from a traditional schedule. She said worst case she would just have a friend bring her son home from school (since she can’t transport 4 kids in her car). So looks like it will work but I feel bad if she has to call in a favor to cover my favor.
Thanks luv2rn4fun! Poor girl still has a cough so I'm going to bring her in when urgent care opens. I just want to make sure it's nothing serious and see if there's anything else we should be doing!

Poor A. I would take her in too. How is her breathing? L always had retractions starting around her age when he got sick like that (and every time after until his hospital stay when they finally put him on a daily inhaler and albuterol at the first signs of a cold). They always just advised to do breathing treatments with the retractions and monitor closely.
But if there are no breathing issues you can try humidifier, saline drops/suction, baby Vick’s on the feet, and sleeping at an incline (I think you guys have a swing?)
((Hugs)) I hope she feels better soon and it’s just a cold.
C woke up sounding horrible and his cough is chesty. He seems to be doing a little better now but we will likely just lay low today. Maybe go for a walk (they will be in the stroller so it’s restful for them).

It's mostly ok but she seemed to have a hard time catching her breath last night a couple times. Seemed like mucus in her throat like I've been dealing with. We had the humidifier on last night and she slept in the baby rocker/chair so she was a little upright and she slept from like midnight to 8 or so. Still coughing but the breathing does seem better. We'll see what the doctor says in a bit!

Update on A: took her in, everything looks ok. She had a slight fever (100.1 so a fever, but not high enough for them to be concerned) but her oxygen levels were great and everything looked and sounded clear. So we'll just keep up with the saline drops, humidifier, etc. And some extra snuggles!
