SFH. You can probably outsource the yard stuff for a reasonable price. Compared to the bigger TH, I would say the bigger house and yard is worth the $600/year.
SFH. Sharing walls is so risky. When we left DC and our shitty upstairs neighbors, I had an “As God is my witness, I will never be hungry again!” scene. No more sharing walls. Nope. Nope. Nope.
SFH all the way. And I can’t imagine doing 2BRs with kids - I did a large 2BR SFH with one infant, but we had three living areas, so one was a playroom and one was an office. And we had a big yard.
Without additional information, I would go with the one close to 2000 sq ft.. I am currently in 1600 with two growing kids and we are beyond ready to get more space.
Thanks ladies! We are TH people. Close proximity to commute has always been important to us.
We figured the swim tennis club membership in this area is $750 a year for our family. So an extra $750 spent for the SFH makes it worth it, plus SFH in this area are truly hard to come by. This is the town we want to purchase in which makes it worth it.
