Weekend was good!

I was exhausted on Friday after not sleeping well Thursday night. Went for a run and then we just relaxed.

Saturday I worked out and was supposed to get my hair cut. My stylist screwed up my appointment time so I couldn't get my new do. Whomp whomp. Ran some errands, worked outside and then we did an impromptu date night.

Sunday was GORGEOUS here; 60 degrees and bright sun. One of P's friends came from out of town so hung with him, then went for a run and did some yard work while they did a guy's day. Hung out with them when they came home.

Nothing much going on today. It's supposed to be almost 70 today so I think I'll go for a bike ride after work.

I was smugly thinking that allergies haven't been so bad this year...well, after 2 ridiculously nice days, including having the windows open yesterday, I feel like I got smacked upside my head with an extra dose of snot and runny everything. Oh well, at least our patio furniture has been returned to the deck, the first lawn mowing of the season happened, etc etc. Yay spring!

But I got all the beds weeded, calculate the insane amount of mulch we need to be delivered - 9 yards, because there IS no mulch in any of the beds, and I'm tired of weeding all the time. I'll be calling a couple places today to see when we can get that dumped in the driveway.

I spent a cr@pton of $$$ between annual vet visits for the horse + 2 dogs, ordering my custom horse trailer (squeee! But it'll take 4-6 weeks to build, so boo), and more patio furniture (because we have a 2-tier deck, and only have enough furniture at the moment to fill one of those tiers).

Oh, and M and I went to a stone yard to look at options for our kitchen counters. We're still waiting on Lowe's to send us the repair guy for the ruined floors/ceilings, but I figure we better decide on the colors we want now, even if only the new floors go in at the moment. We ended up bringing home a beautiful chunk of granite that is nothing like we thought we wanted, but we both keep saying how much we love it. Only problem is that the storefront couldn't ID that stone for us, so we'll have to take the sample over to their supplier and then find out how expensive it might be.

chalupa, I feel your pain on the gardens. That was us last year. I'm hoping that this year will be a lot less maintenance!

My weekend was really good. Friday night I took myself out to dinner and then meet another friend out. Saturday I had a massive headache from my pillows and muscle tension, so I took myself to a for reflexology massage place and got a bunch of knots worked out. Saturday evening I got together with one of my younger cousins who was in town and met his girlfriend and a bunch of her family. It was really nice. Later that night I met a friend out for a little dancing and to catch up on what's going on in her life.

Yesterday I finally got a new pillow. I also did little things like finally connect my Kindle to the wifi in my apartment. Yesterday evening I *finally* saw Black Panther and really enjoyed it!

Weekend went by too fast and I feel like I need one more day to recover. I had dinner with a friend Friday and then crashed because I slept like crap at the hotel. Saturday I went to my bff's where we day drank and went to see a fireworks display. I ended up inviting some dude I had "met" on a dating app and he met us there and then came back to my friends' house for a bon fire. He held his own, which was somewhat impressive since we were a rowdy bunch. Weirdest first date ever lol!

I couldn't freaking sleep (I blame the insane amount of sugar I ingested). I got about 3 hours of sleep and then came home where I still couldn't sleep so I ran errands with the kids, watched Harold and Maude and binged way too many episodes of Little Women LA.

All in all, it was a good weekend. And the freaking sun was out...and it was warm!!!

Weekend was really good. Friday, I spent with DS2 who was potentially down with a stomach bug. Then I went to game night and had a really good evening, didn't get home until 2:30.

Saturday, I met friends for dinner and then took myself out for some drinks.

Sunday, we went to church, then the boys and I hung out while DD did a church thing. Then we went to a new to us park, then got ice cream and came home.

Oh, I did something SUPER embarrassing yesterday. I took a screenshot of a conversation with a guy and see commentary to send to my friend, who'd just been asking the previous night what our communication was like and if he reached out and how. I'm sure you can guess who I accidentally sent the screenshot to instead.

He handled it pretty well though, honestly. It derailed any chance of him answering the question I'd asked before that happened, but oh well. It turned into something playful for a little bit and then entirely dropped. I'm preparing for him to bring it back up to tease me at a later time, though.

I had a good weekend! I had a laser appointment on Friday, and then DH and I went to a new winery, where we sat and enjoyed a glass of wine after doing a tasting. Saturday, we flew up to the airport where glider operations are. We helped launch gliders for a good chunk of the day and got to take two flights ourselves. I also got to ride along in the tow plane for a few launches. Then we flew home and relaxed. Sunday, we did a movie afternoon at a friend's house, and I taught.

I'm currently debating what to do about our guest bathroom vanity. I want to re-do the guest bath, which looks very contractor standard at the moment. It's small, and I'd like to do a fun color on the walls, so I need to keep everything else very light. The shower/tub insert and toilet are both white and are in good shape, so I don't want to replace them. The vanity is a light colored wood with an off-white/cream sink. I was originally thinking to refinish the vanity cabinets and paint them white to save $$, but I think it might look weird to have white cabinets with the off-white sink? Maybe I can do that and just replace the sink/counter? But if I do that, maybe I should just suck it up and buy a new vanity. Decisions, decisions.

Weekend was ok over here. I had to take the day off Friday to go to a funeral. Naturally it was in Florida so I had to travel. Flew down Friday morning and home Saturday evening. My flight was delayed due to weather so I missed the bday celebration I was supposed to attend. Turned out ok because some of the friends who couldn't make it Saturday evening planned a brunch on Sunday afternoon. Sunday morning I was up fairly early so worked out and did some general cleaning up around the house. Went to brunch in the afternoon. I was home by 5pm and exhausted. I finished the book I was reading and was in bed by 9pm last night.

It's raining here but I'm getting on a plane in a few hours. Heading to....wait for it...Florida. Happy Monday ladies!
