I guess everyone is as swamped as me. I worked 60 hours last week. I was exhausted and have racked up 11 hours per day so far this week. In positive news I'm about to go on vacation, I'm 19lbs less than I was in January and I'm feeling awesome about that.
I'm a hamster in a wheel...work, yoga, kid, blah blah blah. DD's boyfriend broke up with her and she's a hot mess right now. I think she called me 4 times last night to talk/process.

Allergy season has hit and I cannot believe how I feel like I got flattened by a truck.
I decided to try my hand at making crepes last night for dinner. There was a bit of a learning curve but I'm impressed with how they turned out. I like learning new skills
I'm tired and out of milk so no coffee yet. Yesterday I did the hip hop intro class in addition to my usual modern class again. It was fun! I used a body oil with arnica in it after I got home from both and showered, so hopefully that will help me be a little less sore.
Yesterday was also exciting because my Sephora order arrived as did my new jazz shoes.
This week in stupid with travel for me. I'll be on a plane every day including Friday. The guy on my flight yesterday was sucking snot like it was his job. I really hope I don't get whatever mess he had.
Great job on the weightloss neonpink. I think I found the 19 lbs you lost.

Great job on the weight loss, neonpink! bullygirl979, I've never tried making crepes! What did you fill them with? tiramisu, isn't Arnica the best?!
I officially love blazers. I'm not sure how I made it to 31 without trying one before, but I love them. It's nice to be able to wear (nice) jeans, a nice top, heels, and a blazer to work because I feel super put together and stylish but not over- OR under-dressed!
udscoobychick A blazer with a cute top underneath, jeans and some great heels is one of my go to date outfits. You can do lots with a nice, fitted blazer.

I am busy at work. We're on tummy bug watch, DS1 threw up this morning and is home sick. I don't have any pto, so I couldn't stay home with him. He was so sad when I left this morning.
I hope if it hits me, it hits me tonight or tomorrow because my birthday is this weekend.

udscoobychick, I followed the skinnytaste recipe so it was a teaspoon of preserves inside, and then I put powdered sugar, sliced bananas and sliced strawberries on top.

bullygirl979, nice! I like savory crepes, too...my sister made them one time with turkey breast, hollendaise sauce, and blanched asparagus inside--so good!
I feel like the last few weeks have been this big rollercoaster. This week I’m plummeting from the top of the steepest hill and praying I survive: -my dad is home. He’s been in the hospital/rehab for the last 31 days. -I had mediation for work. It’s been going on for a few months, but today we came to a formal settlement. -Tomorrow we have an on-site audit from a client, so now I’m frantically pulling together documentation. I also have to prepare a client audit file (for a different client) to send out tomorrow.
My goal is to make it until noon tomorrow and then I’m just a bump on a log for the rest of the day.
