I use Wandfos daily, and then verify with a ClearBlue digital when I think the Wandfo is +. I just started using the digitals this cycle because last cycle I misread a - Wandfo, thinking it was +.
I always used Wondfos. The rumors about some sellers peddling counterfeits have been around for a while. When you’ve gotten positives, did it seem to match with other signs, such as CM? I know only one person who for sure had a batch that was counterfeit, and never got a positive with that batch. If you’ve been getting positives, I wouldn’t stress about it!

I use wondfos every day and ClearBlue Easy Advanced Digital. Once I get a high reading on the CBE, I start testing morning and evening. My wondfo has always showed a positive or near positive when I get a peak reading on the CBE, so my guess is they are somewhat accurate.
How long are your cycles? Mine are anywhere from 26-29 days, so I start the wondfos around day 9 or 10.
Typically 28-29 days. Last month I got positives on CD 16, 17 and 18 (faint on CD 16) I’m CD 15 right now and got a negative Wondfo OPK this morning with FMU. I’ll test again in an hour or so but don’t anticipate ovulation until probably Tuesday. But CM is definitely not conducive to getting pregnant right now.
Time of day is definitely a factor with OPKs for me. I never get a +OPK with FMU. My +OPKs only show up when I do them in the early afternoon. So, that might be something to keep in mind.

I used cheap wondfos for a long time to get a sense of my cycle length and ovulation timing (I have longish cycles and an unpredictable follicular phase) and then clear blue digitals (not the advanced kind, just regular digital) once I could pinpoint a 10-ish day window for ovulation each cycle. The line reading kind of stresses me out, otherwise the cheap ones are probably fine.
My RE swears the most reliable OPK results are from 2nd morning urine taken before 12pm. I’m sure that is more of an art than a science though.

I never really checked CM/ cervical placement. I’m starting this month since I’m on month 7 trying for #1. I figured a positive test meant it was go time. Which, obviously it does, but I’ll be checking every other sign as well now.
I could never convince myself to check cervical placement, but I think I just had a lot of practice, with 4 years of TTC/NTNP, so I was able to tell I was about to ovulate just from an increase in CM. I made the classic TTC mistake of conflating my experience with everyone’s, though, and I’m sorry! It definitely took a while to get there, and I’m sure it’s different for everyone.
Wishing you luck in TTC! I found taking extra fish oil really helpful with the CM issue.

Oh, it’s ok. I’ve been upping my fish oil as well, along with folic acid, Vitex, berberine, CoQ10, mucinex, etc - basically taking every supplement known to mankind. I’m probably going overboard at this point, but besides actually getting Clomid or another rx, I’m kind of stuck.
I’m just really paranoid now, esp since I’m being inundated with people getting KO on their first and second cycles. I guess now is the time to start buying the more expensive/ more sensitive tests and physically getting up in there to check.
Keep your spirits up! I know it seems like a long time, but it’s still within the range of normal. It took us 7 cycles to conceive our first, which went easier once I found out I ovulate early. The second is a whole other story, but I definitely think there’s a psychological benefit to not letting yourself get too anxious.
