turboteal, I was barely showing at 24 weeks when I delivered. My friends and family could tell, but strangers probably couldn't. I'm very thin and I really wonder where 12 inches and almost 2 pounds of baby was hiding. seaturtle, my main symptoms during 1st tri were being tried and spotting; I felt pretty good after 12 weeks or so. I did start getting some heartburn about mid 2nd trimester.
What's everyone up to this weekend? We're doing Mother's Day early since we will be in the hospital next weekend (again! 2nd year in a row, grrr). We're getting Indian food and I'm sleeping in tomorrow, woot!
turboteal, with V I started having a noticeable bump around 14 weeks. With A I had the same bump at 8 weeks, but luckily by then I was working freelance. I'm petite with a short waist and I carry low, so I was always going to show earlier. Sorry your colleagues are douches.
loira, I like your answer best! Lol! I am also petite, 5'3 and 116, and short torso. What's crazy is I haven't even gained weight yet. I guess now I know my ab muscles weren't very toned, since they're already getting strained by my organs just moving around!
Not much happening this weekend, I volunteered this morning and am now free for the rest of the day, but working tomorrow night. Hope to catch up with a friend who I haven't seen in a few weeks later today.
I started showing super early but tried to hide it. I became aware that I was the subject of office gossip around 12 weeks (thanks, co-workers...) and announced (after being confronted in the break room by a couple of Nosy Nellies) at around 14 weeks.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
We are having 10+ people come in from out of town/state for a big crawfish boil my street has every year. We had at least 150 people show up last year, it was nuts. It's going to be so much fun having all of my H's friends and some family in town though. H's brother is coming and bringing their daughter who is 1 month older than C. They play so great together, I'm glad they are close enough to hang out often.
We have gone down to your neck of the woods a couple of times for neighborhood crawfish boils and it is always SO FUN!
@turboteals I did not show until I was like 22 weeks maybe? And I did not wear maternity clothes until then. I didn't feel like I looked pregnant until 24 or 25 weeks, just chubby.
