Because I want to share pictures but I don't want to totally take over the weekly thread.

So here’s the before/after of the fireplace:

After the living room is done do y’all have any other rooms you want to tackle? You guys have done a spectacular with every room so far

The only thing left to do in the living room is crown molding, which we’re hoping to do this weekend. H is almost done with the baseboards and door trim in the dining room, and then we’ll just need to do crown molding in there, too.

All of our living room furniture is currently in the dining room, so I don’t have any after pictures of it yet.

Eventually, we'll be doing the whole house. Right now, we're just happy to have the front of the house (almost) done. lol.

Next will be the hallway. Then either my office or H's extra room (depending on if we end up needing to turn his extra room into a nursery anytime soon). Our bedroom and the bathrooms will be last, but hopefully we'll be able to get to them eventually.

suzv - I was really skeptical about the fireplace at first, because when we started painting it I didn't feel like it looked so great. But once the whole thing was done, I was really happy with how it turned out.

Ah, this is fun!!! Everything looks so good! One day, I'll finish decorating our home! We've been there 4 whopping years!

I love everything! I can't wait to do our floors, I'll have to remember to do before and after pics! I think we decided not to paint though because we figured out it was going to end up being like $500 in paint, lol. We can always do it another time!

estrellita - We bought almost all of our paint during a BOGO 50% off deal at Lowe's. It saved us a lot!

Our new living room rug and dining room table both got delivered today! We had to order longer cables for the TV/cable setup and they won't show up until Wednesday, though. I'm so ready to put my living room back together!

I wish we were able to order new furniture for the living room, too, but we just couldn't convince ourselves to spend that much extra money on top of everything else. Our living room furniture isn't pretty, but it still works so it's not a necessity at this point.

I love the fireplace. Yours looks a lot nicer than other painted ones I’ve seen. At first glance, I thought your re-bricked!
