Tonight is up in the air. I may go to a clothing swap, but I have GOT to finish my quarterly reports so I'm not sure.
Tomorrow we are doing a field trip for my photography class, then I'm having a couple of friends over to celebrate my 5 year cancerversary. Nothing planned for Sunday.
Last night in jazz class my left thigh/IT band spasmed so I'm taking it easy this evening. Today I'll also be calling orthopedics to get in as soon as I can. It looks like they have a couple of good options for people who specialize in working with feet and one who only has an MS but specializes in feet and ankles and sports medicine, which sounds perfect for me.
Tonight I'm going to be meeting up with a friend who recently moved out of state. Tomorrow I'm supposed to go to a picnic I'm the afternoon, but that will depend on how my foot and leg are feeling, because there are hills and parking is usually bad. Sunday I'm getting a manicure and pedicure. I'm sure my weekend will fill up quickly, but that's all I have so far, thankfully.
I just ordered 2 dresses to try on for upcoming weddings (my little brother gets married in June, and my high school BFF in July). Apparently I'm in a navy mood, lol Option 1
No big plans for the weekend. Now that we have a newer, much smaller thermostat on a wall, we can now see all the colors our living room has been over the years, so we may stare at paint chips and call up some painters for estimates. Although if I'm hiring someone to paint one room, I really want them to paint the whole house while they're at it, LOL. And now I have a whole bunch more paint chips to think about. SaveSave
That is my #1 choice, without trying anything on yet. I went to order it yesterday and it was showing sold out in sizes 6-12, so I panicked and found the Modcloth option. But it was thankfully back in stock today, so now both options will be on my doorstep in a week or so SaveSave
All booked with a PA for May 15th! They have a new top foot guy coming in too, but they don't know his name or have his schedule yet, so I might be able to switch to him once they do know.
chalupa I do love that one-shoulder dress! I hope it works out for you. Both options are pretty!

chalupa, those are both super cute, but add me to the list of people who prefer the one-shoulder one!
I'm WFH today (yay!)...there's a new restaurant in the tiny town near us that we may check out tonight. It doesn't seem to have a name, just a sign that says "bar lounge," but there was a foldable sign out front a couple weeks ago saying to come in for cocktails, so it must be open. I can't find anything about it online, so I'm curious.
Tomorrow, we'll be at the open house for the parrot sanctuary. We'll probably hang out with the owners afterward. A vegan friend of DH's might stay with us afterward, so I want to prep some vegan breakfast burritos today or tomorrow so I'm prepared for breakfast on Sunday! Sunday will be my normal teaching at the studio.
This weekend should be a blast. Lots of time with the bf, but also a cinco de mayo taco feast on saturday night (friends all get to meet him for the first time), and my brother's birthday gathering on Sunday ( he's not meeting the fam just yet), and going out in my dad's new boat!
Tirsmisu, I'm glad you found a good doc that works for you ! And chalupa love both dresses!
I took today off and really needed it since my depression has been bad this past week. I've been hella productive today - I went to 5:30 AM yoga, painted my front door purple, grocery shopped, ran errands, had lunch with my bff, watched three episodes of Maury and made dinner for DD. I'm meeting another friend for dinner tonight so we can catch up.
Tomorrow are my last two on-call shifts, so I'll be laying pretty low. Sunday we're moving DD out of the dorms.
Woke up well on my way to a migraine, so I decided to work from home today. Good thing, too, since the builder showed up to build the wheelchair ramp for my dad. I’m excited that he will have the ability to be more mobile soon.
Weekend should be quite. Will have to catch up on some work, grocery shop, meal prep, and having lunch out on Sunday.
So glad for the weekend. This week was a long one.
