I saw an adorable test knit on ravelry for a toddler cardigan. They still need testers.
Except, it only goes up to size 4, and my youngest niece now wears size 5. I can't jack with the pattern to make it bigger because it's a test knit. And I don't think I know anyone else well enough with a little toddler that wouldn't be weirded out by me randomly knitting their child a cardigan... I even have some gorgeous Manos yarn I could use for it.
Sadness. I'll have to figure out something else to knit.

If you really want to test it you could always hold on to it in case there are any new babies or, if you're really generous, post on a bigger board here asking who wants it.

I have an adorable 3 year old in my life. He’s not mine, but he’s one that makes me happy. His mom wouldn’t get why a stranger was sending her a beautiful sweater, but I could likely explain it. But you said niece. And I’m sure you can find something fabulous to do with your yarn.

I’m on a new med that is making me an anxious space cadet and I have two projects that are started but completely on hold. It’s not safe to serge like this.
A few things from some of my recent glaze fires- did a lot of picture taking catch up.
Two 9" plates- rainbow
And a robin's egg blue ish one.
An older rainbow rimmed plate that went into use before it could get photographed- this has been through the dishwasher (we don't baby them) at least a dozen times and looks like it always did. Some of the colored glazes burn out at the temps I fire to, the pink and purple are the worst- so they're a little streaky (that's not damage). DD loves this plate (though, I think it's been replaced by the one above).
A smaller (6" or 7"- I can't remember) plate with a pretty oatmeal speckled glaze, and a cocoa colored glaze around the rim. I made a batch of chocolate bath bombs for the kids yesterday and plopped them on this, as it was the perfect size (there were a few more yesterday) to keep them from rolling away, so that's the picture we get.
A little rainbow tray. I HATE how this glaze came out, I was so careful when I glazed this, and then they just went wild and swirled together. LOL It's always an adventure. The little pendant thing is going at the bottom of a garden bell (that hasn't been assembled yet).
Quick cloud trays- I thought I'd glaze them white, but, ended up feeling blue that day I guess- ha.
A very rustic oval tray- dark brown speckled clay that

I realized after posting that I have a buddy who has an adorable toddler. And buddy is letting DH and I crash at her place for a group event at the end of the month (saving us a chunk of money because hotels in that area are crazy that weekend). I figure I can get it done before that weekend, and it'll make a nice little "thanks for letting us crash" sort of gift.
cmeon , your stuff is amazing! I really love the blue cloud trays, especially the bottom one!
I've got 7 more granny squares to make (of 40) for DDs scrap-yarn blanket. The goal is by the end of the month. (and sew the thing together in June)
Anyone have a favorite binding method for granny squares? I don't want to just sew.
I am not a crocheter. But, could you crochet them together? If you did like a zig-zag effort from one corner to the opposite, you might be able to just go in not too many passes to get it all together...

I’ve done this with a loose chain stitch on only the ‘top’ side stitches where they meet. It creates a slight raised ridge of stitches but it worked for the pattern I was using.
I knit dog pants this month. They are funky. IDK that I'd quite call them a "success." lol
Pants with dogs on them, or pants to put on dogs? I'm intrigued- LOL- I think we need a photo.
Pants to put on a dog. They look like the clothing version of cooked turkey legs, except fuzzy instead of delicious.
The shaping on those things are a hot mess, but it's the 2nd time I've knit them and I'm disinclined to try again. Maybe I'll just knit the dog leg warmers.

I forgot the option of pants knit with dog fur!!! Thank you for not doing that.
I hope the dog appreciates the effort. I had one little dachshund who would have, he loved to dress up. Pants would have been hilarious (and a very quick project, given his lack of height- ha)!

Owls in white:
Magnets-to-be, tiles for a mosaic, oil diffusers
They are beautiful. I am planning on stone painting.
