FWIW I took it most of both pregnancies and never actually got sick! I do have a pretty strong stomach though and the very rare times I do get sick, something is definitely wrong. But I still swear the B6 helped me. Definitely keep small, bland snacks on you and try to keep at least a little food in your stomach (feeling hungry made me feel sick). And on the other side, try not to eat too much either! I haven't tried them but some people have luck with sea bands, sprays (I think they usually have magnesium?) and preggo pops or whatever they're called! Oh, ginger and peppermint tea might help too. Not a bad idea to be prepared but chances are it (hopefully!) won't be that bad!
How much B6 did you take, and how often? My doctor recommended 50mg 1x/day, but Google has mixed reviews on how much/how often is best.
I know the answer is to listen to my doctor, and I definitely will, but I’m curious to know what everyone else did/does.
Umm.. I can't remember what the strength was but it was just one pill. I want to say it was 50mg though, that sounds right.
suzv there is definitely a line there and it looks pink to me! Might be too early for a digital, I've heard they're less sensitive. Could you get a FRER?
suzv- the wondfo line is much darker today, clearly a positive. Probably too early for a digital (I never tested before 12 DPO and usually closer to 14-16 DPO with wondfo). Try a FRER! What a great Mother’s Day present!! So happy for the three of you and am praying for a happy, healthy, uneventful pregnancy!

katespade, I'm the opposite of estrellita. I've done the B6/Unisom combo with my pregnancies and it doesn't work. Nothing does (I've tried a lot of things). So, just be prepared incase the normal "tricks" don't do anything. Some people just get really sick. With both of my healthy pregnancies I have had nausea/vomiting the entire time.
amaranth I was just trying to get in touch with katiek IRL to talk about that haze. C is a happy kid but she’s a runner who doesn’t sleep well. I have hazy days with one, between lack of sleep and other health issues. I thought we’d have 3, but I have a hard time imagining wrangling 3 kids like her on no sleep. Case and point today’s vent: DH was calling last night a good night because she only woke up 3 times. Today I was talking to someone at a trade show about maybe being a foster parent and I’m keeping an eye on C who’s playing with a bike & lady at a nearby booth. Suddenly the lady is handing me C saying she tried to bolt to the washrooms. I was so embarrassed. How can I be trusted with other people’s kid when I nearly lost my own? Also, how will I keep track of more than one?
Related to my rant: Kid leashes/harnesses. The ones I looked at said 18m plus. My Mom suggested that might just be to make sure the kid is walking well & considering my kid almost bolted from the trade show, she’s stable enough for one now at 13.5m. WDYT, still too young?
@opal if you're otherwise comfortable with a leash I would assume that walking well is the correct mileston to follow? I don't seem many people use them around here to compare.
amaranth: I think the struggle is my level of comfort with using the leash. I was thinking of it as giving her some freedom but perhaps it's just better to work on making her stay with me.
