And I keep getting ads on Twitter for the movie tonight. I was flipping through the channels this morning and they were showing the William and Kate movie, so clearly Lifetime is ready.
What network will everyone be watching the actual wedding on next weekend?
BBC America - I’m assuming they’ll air it? That’s where I watched Will and Kate’s and I liked the coverage a lot.
Yes, this would be the ideal station. We only have basic cable so unfortunately don’t have that channel. It looks like all the major US networks will also be airing it so I’ll probably flip around.

DH got last minute approval to attend a conference in the UK this week, so was frantically trying to make reservations, flying home Friday and planning to stay near Heathrow Thursday night. He's searching and searching and (rhetorically) asks what's going on that weekend that he can't get a reasonably priced room for that night. DUDE, REALLY?
I told him to look for some of the really bad memorabilia for me, like with wrong pictures and typos.
ABC is reporting that the photos of Meghan's dad studying, getting measured for a tux, exercising, etc. are part of a paid photoshoot not the paparazzi invading his privacy as was originally thought. If true, that's got to suck for Meghan and I'm sure the Queen and the palace are pissed.

My grandma has Charles and Diana playing cards that are my favorite.
Meghan Markle's father will not be walking her down the aisle Saturday ... he isn't going to the wedding at all because of the fallout over selling photos of himself ... TMZ has learned.
Thomas Markle tells TMZ, he meant no harm to Meghan or the Royal Family when he made a deal to allow a photo agency to take pics of him getting ready for the wedding. He says he had a reason and it was not principally about money.
...
Thomas says the paparazzi agency approached him, offered him money -- though nowhere near the reported $100k -- and he figured there was no harm in it and it would help recast his image.
He admits the pics look "stupid and hammy." He says he was just going along with the paparazzi agency, which he now deeply regrets.
And, Thomas says, he suffered a heart attack 6 days ago but checked himself out of the hospital so he could attend the wedding. He's now decided not to go because he doesn't want to embarrass the Royal Family or his daughter.
Also, I have heard that Harry loathes the paparazzi because he blames them for his mother's death, which is 100% understandable. Now his future father in law is in cahoots with them? Ugh, just messy all around.

I usually trust TMZ lol. I'm finding the part about him having a heart attack slightly suspect though.
Daily Mail is reporting her awful half sister is taking responsibility for the staged photos, to show the dad in a more positive light.

Will and Kate got married the day after my son was born. He was only a few hours old and we "watched it together". Perhaps I should have him watch this one too, lol.

My girls were born the day before the wedding too. I remember waking up really early and wondering what I would do before I got to see them (they were premature and in the NICU) and I remembered the wedding was on.
I was in Korea for will and Kate, and it looks like I'll be in Thailand this year. Great time for viewing, dinnertime prep. Sorry for all you left in Pacific time
I think the difference is the grey area, Pippa (as far as I know) didn’t officially cooperate with Paps as much as drop a hint she’d be at x place to friendly paps. Definitely using the Paps but not the same level? At least as far as I know it hasn’t come out that she had a formal arrangement like this.
May also be they haven’t been able to prove the same level of cooperation.
(Am not discounting the potential racial element agains Meghan here, but the Middleton’s got tons of scrutiny and shit around the wedding so I am skeptical it wouldn’t have been news if they could prove it)
