He's had food poisoning before and I can't remember if he got a fever. The rest seems like food poisoning though. Who knows! If it is something contagious though I'm definitely going to need to sanitize everything.. stomach bugs are horrible, I don't want the rest of us getting it!

DH is on his way home!

We have two birthday parties today. It will be fun but very busy. Downing all the coffee to be ready.

I can’t believe it’s the middle of May and I had to turn the heat on today! It’s chilly and rainy here today. Poor H is working and his boss is being a real asshole to him and everyone else. His boss is trying to guilt him into staying until after July 4th but there’s no way H is going to lose a great job with great benefits.

My bff texted last night that she can’t meet up before we move. I’m so upset.

Sorry your DH’s boss is being an a-hole. Not cool. And good for your DH for standing his ground. It might suck for his boss but it’s definitely best for you guys! And it’s not like he hasn’t given plenty of notice, he gave nearly two months!

Ugh, wineandcheese I hate when bosses and coworkers do that. I’m glad he’s standing up for himself, this is definitely the right thing for your family. I’m sorry they are being so crappy!

I just finished watching the Royal wedding and all the interviews and tidbits surrounding the day!

luv2rn4fun she lives about 45 minutes away, but is in my area a few times a week usually. Hopefully she’ll change her mind in the next few weeks.

His boss choose to ignore my H and his coworkers when they talked about us moving. He was in denial I guess.

Our water heater decided that today was the day it wanted to die. So, poor H is currently spending his afternoon installing a new one, while I lay on the couch because my tummy hurts.

I don’t deserve him. <3

Aww, I am so sorry your DH is having to spend his time fixing the water heater 🙁. I hope it gets fixed soon! FWIW, I think you guys both deserve each other- you are a great team! Feel better friend!

Thank you for this. I really needed to hear it today. I feel like all I’ve done lately is take and take and take and take, and H has been so wonderful about just going along with whatever I want/need.

Good news, though - New water heater is installed and supposedly it’s working (I haven’t tested it, but H obviously did). H burned his arm pretty badly while he was installing it, though.

Marriage isn’t always about being equal all the time...you are pregnant and you need more right now, totally normal! You have to take care of you and baby and your DH gets to pick up the pieces to make it as easy as possible on you (DH actually did a good job of this while I was pregnant, especially with C).

Sorry to hear your DH got burned 🙁. I hope it’s not too bad. Burns are the worst. Glad you have a new, functional hot water heater though! We need to replace ours soon...DH will be doing that projectbsolo while I take care of the kiddos. Divide and conquer, neither of us likes it but it has to happen sometimes.
