Hi all!
I'm cautiously excited to be joining you!
Backstory (trigger warning): H and I are both 36. We have a 4yr old son. Last year we had 2 losses, one in February at 12 weeks, and a MMC in July at 8 weeks. The 12 week loss was due to a chromosomal abnormality, we knew for about 2 weeks before the loss that something was significantly wrong; the heart had stopped beating when we went in for a CVS. I was worried getting pregnant after that, but after having a second loss I am even more stressed about trying again, but I am finally to the point where I feel ready to try- for quite a while after the losses I was convinced that we should be OAD.
More about me: I work for a non-profit, H and I have been together for 16 years, and we have 3 dogs (2 are old and lazy, one is a puppy and completely crazy), and I love to read and garden!

Welcome! I love your screenname (although I was always a bigger fan of Emily)! I've also had multiple miscarriages due to chromosomal abnormalities. It's devastating. Are you going to see an RE? Have you had any testing (of you/your H) done?

Thanks! Anne and Emily are equally awesome!
Not an RE but with the first loss by ob referred us to a MFM who I will see if/when I get pregnant again. The hospital screwed up the tissue sample after the D&C so we weren't able to get a definitive diagnosis (although they have a pretty good idea just based off what they saw during ultrasounds). Both doctors felt that RPL testing wasn't necessary after only two losses, especially since I had already had one healthy pregnancy. I assume that they would do further testing if we had a third loss.
