Relatively clean, despite 2 kids. Right now in the front seat there's a water bottle in the cup holder. In the kids seats there's 2 books and a handful of lego parts in the kids car seat cups. There's nothing in the trunk.
Mine is always disgusting. And it always smells. My boss last year went through this whole ordeal bc her car smelled bad, taking it to multiple different auto places to try to determine the smell. That seemed like a novel concept to me. Usually i just ignore it until it stops smelling/I get used to it. I’m pretty mortified whenever I unexpectedly have to drive someone bc my car is so disgusting.
😦 Your car has a disgusting smell and you just ignore it?

Oh, THERE it is. I was shocked that nobody had jumped on this yet.
Normally the clean freaks are much faster than this.
Very, very clean. I'm a clean person in general. I can have, like, a few tissues and a gum wrapper in the pocket on my door and I'm like "need to clean noooooooow!" My dog sits on a towel so he doesn't get my passenger seat dirty. My H deep cleans both our cars every few months.

I don’t think one has to be on clean freak level even to raise eyebrows at that.
of course not. Clean freaks was intended as a...term of endearment? Gentle ribbing? Since there's a contingent of people here, who I love and adore generally, who are ALWAYS there for shaming us slobs. I was just surprised it took this long.

My car is more cluttered than dirty, though it could currently use a good wipe down. It's not even me - DH leaves packs of gum in there (I cleaned it out in preparation for getting a new car tonight, and there were 4 packs of gum in the center console.). DD leaves all sorts of random stuff. Things get put in the way back with the third row down, and then I can't reach them without crawling in.
It's not where I'd be embarrassed to have people in there.

Yep. Smelly car has become part of my lifestyle. Between soccer/running/biking/swimming (open water in the summer) gear, two large dogs who ride in the car regularly - sometimes after swimming in the lake, there is always something that stinks. I mean, one of my dogs is a 130 lb St Bernard mix. Even with regular baths, especially this time of year, he gets stinky.
Two of our vehicles are spotless (thanks to DH), our third vehicle is my daily commuter and it's trashed. Literally. We have to haul off our recycling and I throw everything in the trunk and then drop it off on Saturdays. Since it's so good on gas we use it for pretty much everything else too. I don't leave food laying around, but it's full of random stuff from weekend hiking trips, weekend remodeling projects, stuff I need to drop off at a donation center, etc. We call it "the turd".
Relatively clean. I try very hard to take everything out of my car every time I come home. I'm not 100% about it, but I'd say I'm about 75%. I do have a shedding dog so there's always fur on the cloth seats (even though we put down a car hammock thing for him to sit on, it still gets everywhere somehow). I vacuum and Windex 2-3 times a year.
I will say that I REALLY hate when driving in someone else's car and I need to move a ton of shit just to sit down or when you literally have your feet on crap. It's so uncomfortable. I'd rather just drive in my car.
I can count on one hand how many times the minivan has been washed. It’s not like I’m trying here lol.
I will say that I do clean out the interior every time I fill the gas tank. Just wrappers and stuff. I rarely vacuum or Armor All it. I mean, DD “made it rain” with her Cheerios today so why even bother.
When we have long rides I always give DS a snack cup of Cheerios and then when we get home I put the dog in the car to clean up. LOL
Another time a bag of dog food spilled in the trunk and my H asked me to grab the dust buster. I came back with the dog lifted him into the trunk and let him go crazy.
It's a decent tradeoff for his fur on my seats and nose art on my windows.

I used to have my car detailed quarterly and it was kept pretty clean, now that my office park is not detailed friendly it’s not nearly as clean but compared to a lot of people I know my car is very tidy. H is crazy about keeping vehicles clean and that rubbed off on me when I got the crosstrek.
I keep my car clean. Even with kids. They aren't allowed to eat in my car. Period. Our car rides are rarely more than 30 min. They will survive.
Earlier this year, I went on a work trip. One of my coworker said we should carpool to the airport together. She volunteered her car. It was filthy. Like garbage all over the floor filthy and chicken poop and mud on the inside doors. I will never understand why she didn't pickup trash on the floor before she picked me up. It takes 10 seconds but then I realize that to her it's not that filthy.

I have 3 kids and we are involved in a lot of activities (plus I coach sports) so we travel with a lot of "stuff" but I clean out the minivan regularly. I don't vacuum and wipe down the interior often but I don't have trash all over the place either.
H's truck is cleaned and washed, inside and out, all the time.
