I’d try it for a whole cycle the way you’re doing it and see if you can still detect the temp shift at ovulation. Do you use OPKs also? If so that could be a second layer of data just to see how the temps match up.

I would continue to temp. Last time I charted I was occasionally getting up a few times a night with my DS which affected my temps. My Dr. told me to keep on temping because I would still likely see a shift with O (and I did). I was also using OPKs to back it up.

That .3 or .4 difference is very small. My temp shift always takes me from 97-97.5 to 98.3+. It’s a big shift. You’ll have small temp fluctuations and that’s fine.
I would definitely keep temping and see what you end up with at the end of the cycle. My temp jumps around a lot in the beginning portion of my cycle, but I’m still always able to see a very clear shift up after I O.
