I saw a podiatrist yesterday and got the results of my MRI. There's nothing obviously wrong on the MRI, both agree that I have a sprain. Both agree, even though I had to pull it out of them, that I probably shouldn't do my jazz routine (they don't think I'll listen to them). So I emailed my dance instructor. One of my classmates suggested that I could be in parts of the routine and just leave stage and come back a couple of times.

I'm sorry, tiramisu. I know you were really hoping for something more concrete and to be able to do the routine.
I learned last night that it takes 90 minutes to hull and slice 1 gallon + 2 lbs of strawberries. I bought some on Saturday at a local farm, but they were SUPER ripe and were starting to go bad. I'm making strawberry-infused rum/vodka/moonshine as Christmas presents. So, last night, I started slicing, divvied the strawberries up among 4 mason jars, and started them infusing. I have 1 rum, 1 moonshine, and 2 vodka. I also made a strawberry sauce with the left over berries that I'll use in a cake.
I also learned last night that Lowe's employees are trained like ninjas...absolutely impossible to spot when you're looking for them. I couldn't find tomatillos. I need to call around to some local garden shops to see if anyone has them.
Thank you udscoobychick! I'm wearing stiff-soled shoes now, which is weird but clearly more comfortable. I'm going to do tap, but I'm still debating jazz.

I know I sound like a broken record but I'm getting so excited for the wedding! I popped in to the floral shop that motzie recommended to me, plunked down my money, showed them my dress and said "make me a pretty bouquet of whatever you want". Now that I'm getting down to the details it is just getting so real!

Also, I just found out that my company had a big win for some follow-on work for one of the programs I work on! I was heavily involved in the proposal, so that's exciting!

Woman, you should be excited! You are marrying the man you love. That is something to be excited about!
