Looonnnggggg weekend!!

Happy Friday! What are you guys up to on this long holiday weekend?

I have exactly zero plans this weekend. I'll probably lay pretty low since I'm trying to watch my budget. I do need to finish painting my shutters, so that will be on the agenda at some point. It's supposed to be really hot and humid all weekend, so probably not a ton of outside stuff for this cat!

Tonight I have a date with a man I bet through eHarmony. He lives about 30 minutes away and is driving to see me. I gave him 4 potential places, he course one, and he made reservations. I forgot what dating an actual grown-up could be like.

Tomorrow I'm getting a haircut and that's my only other plan for the weekend so far. I'm looking forward to relaxing and resting more.

I am so excited for a long weekend. No plans tonight. Tomorrow, I'm going wine tasting with CWs and then teaching a party at my studio. Sunday is supposed to be a "fly-in" at the house of one of the glider club members, but the weather is not looking great, and it's an outdoor event. Either which way, we also have a party at a friend's house Sunday evening, so we will definitely be going to that. Monday will be laying low and probably cleaning/cooking/prepping for the week.

SparkPeople is killing me lol. It says I have already gone over my daily caloric limit. I had 2 eggs scrambled with spinach and salsa (and like 4 crumbled tortilla chips on top) for breakfast, 1 lb of baby carrots as a snack, and stir-fried green beans and pork with some veggie dumplings for lunch. That is not an unreasonable about of food!

It is going to be a miracle if i survive this wknd. I am working today and monday, the a/c is broken and it is suppose to be in the mid 90s for quite a few days.

Spindle is not made to tolerate heat.

It is the long weekend and my fav bit was a rendition of a mid summer nights dream with one of the cast being shitfaced. It was hysterical. My h was pulled on on stage. It was so much fun.

Glad for the long weekend. On the advice of my boss I elected not to do any work for the last 3 days, so that was super awesome.

Yesterday was the 500 which meant you couldn’t do any kind of normal activity in town because there were so many people. Since it was 93 outside I stayed inside and listened to the race.

Today was a quiet day other than hitting up Bdubs for lunch. Only 4 days left this week. Here’s to hoping it goes quickly.

idahome the date was REALLY good! 4 hours in the wine bar, we closed the place down along with a group that was there celebrating a graduation. Good chemistry the whole time, great conversation, just easy and fun. And he's a really good kisser. He has been really honest about being into me and wanting to see me again, which is refreshing. I'm seeing him again this evening for a little bit after he drops his parents off at the airport. So far I'm cautiously optimistic!
