I'm in a funk. LOL! I really stopped wearing a lot of makeup in nursing school. Now that I am done, I have been trying to put on foundation, and I am finding that I don't love any of the ones I have. I don't have a lot to cover, but I am 38, so I don't love my bare skin at this point. LOL!!
I used Estee Lauder, double wear...which is heavy right now...and feels hot in the summer. I have Bare Minerals, which seems to settle in my lines at my eyes... I have Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation, which I do like, but it looks speckled on my forehead maybe like it oxidizes?
I want it to cover, but not feel super thick. Anybody have any brands they love?
I am combination/oily t zone area...I get really oily...so I need help. I don't have a lot of wrinkles, or lines...just at my eye smile area. I use Ole Henrikson skin care, which I love.
I would suggest going into like a Sephora and get some samples of lighter coverage foundations to try. I like the Urban Decay Naked foundation. Its medium coverage on me and very light feeling. I also like the Urban Decay One and Done tinted moisturizer especially for summer. It’s very light coverage but has a nice blurring effect to my face.
I love IT Cosmetics CC but I recently started using vitamin c to help with my melasma and now my overall skintone is lighter. The lightest is now too light and the one I've always used is too dark. If you can find your shade it's great.
I second going to Sephora, asking for help, and getting some samples. UD Naked skin and Fenty Beauty pro filter are two I think of for oilier skin. They should be able to help you find a few options. I think there might even be a newer Bobbi Brown foundation that's better for oilier skin.
Thanks gals! I think I am going to go to Sephora to grab some samples, and get shaded again. I probably need to dump a lot of my old stuff, and start fresh. LOL!!SaveSave
