Mine was quiet and kind of boring! DD worked all weekend and DS was at his dad's. All of my friends were busy doing things, so I was home alone bored! I got some house stuff done and ran some errands. DS and I went to see Infinity War yesterday. I also spent way too much time trying to decide what kind of bed to buy since mine is awful and DS broke my box spring by hurling himself on my bed!
The cop liked me on Match over the weekend. Buddy, seriously, it's time to move on! I'm actively trying to set him up with a really sweet girl who works in IT.
Also, my friend who was being catfished and is now willing to date anyone with a pulse has a boyfriend. They went exactly twice (although technically it was one outing and then she went to his place for dinner). Then date #3 was at her place, to cuddle on the couch watching a movie while her 16 DD was there. DD told me "it was really awkward." Yeah, you think?

Weekend was good! I took Friday off and P went and bought 61 bags of mulch. While he was working on his rental, I hauled and laid 46 bags in 90 degree heat. Saturday I laid the rest and then we went to a party, which was fun. Didn't do much Sunday. Yesterday we smoked ribs and had another couple over for dinner. He brought the best white sangria and we all got a little tipsy. I'm feeling a little rough today, which kind of blows as I have to drive 3.5 hours later for work.
Oh, and we got our marriage license on Friday! Although, I wasn't expecting to have to decide RIGHT THEN if I was taking P's last name.
Wait...you want more? She went out with one guy (once) and the NEXT DAY took her daughter to his house and walked in because he didn't answer the door as he was sleeping. So they were in his house, unannounced/uninvited, so she could introduce him to her DD. She tried to wake him up but he wouldn't wake up, so they left. I did one small internet search and found out he's been on probation, consistently, for 14 years! That's not normal!

Annndddd?
We previously talked about it, thank goodness. He told me it was 100% my decision and he was totally cool with whatever I picked. His preference was to have the same last name but given it was my name, it was my choice and he'd be okay with whatever I chose. I didn't really have a strong preference either way, just a general "UGH, SO MANY THINGS TO CHANGE" feeling. So, I went with being traditional and decided to adopt his.

Yay for the marriage license, bullygirl979 ! And a GIANT WTF to your friend, doriswe ! Wow.
The fly-in got rained out, so our weekend ended up being a little quieter than expected, but that was ok. I went wine tasting with CWs on Saturday...I had time to kill afterwards, so I also stopped by a distillery and another winery but wasn't overly impressed with either. I then taught a burlesque/pole party to a fun group of ladies.
Sunday, I went to at least 4 or 5 garden centers before FINALLY finding one that had tomatillos. I came home and planted the last few things in my veggie garden and made cookies'n'cream brownies and a carrot salad for a party we went to that night.
Monday, I mulched all our forsythia and quince trees and planted a few more bulbs in the flower beds. And DH finished re-doing our deck! He did a great job!
Hooray for your marriage license bullygirl979!! doriswe I don't even know what to say about your friend right now. WTF. udscoobychick your deck looks great!
I'm impressed with all you ladies got done this weekend.
My weekend was mostly relaxing. I like my haircut and I think I did a good job of doing some errands every day without doing so much that I overused my foot. I dropped both my dance costumes off to the tailor on Saturday. I also went sandal shopping and dealt with frustration all over again. So instead I ordered 4 pairs online that should arrive tomorrow and I can try them all on and send back what doesn't work.
My foot issues are making me grumpy. If I do too much walking, it definitely starts to hurt and I get frustrated.
Date Friday was really good! But I'm starting to think maybe he's coming on a little strong. I'm trying to see how it is once he's settled into his parents not staying with him and driving him crazy, but it started to feel last night like he's working something else out emotionally through me. I don't know how to put it into words yet and I don't want to jump to conclusions, so we'll see. He definitely wants to rush to bed and I'm absolutely holding off.

tiramisu, thank you! I ordered some patio furniture to put out there, too. It didn't used to have a roof, and it would get SO HOT (like 120*) during the summer, so it will be nice to actually be able to use it!

She has to realize this means he was either passed out or ignoring her so she'd leave, right?
My weekend was really nice. It's amazing how one extra day makes such a difference. A co-worker and I were just discussing how we should consistently have three day weekends. 5 days on and 2 off just doesn't seem balanced!
Friday I ended up getting home late from Dallas. Weather delay turned into quite a mess. I'd been upgraded to first class though so I took advantage of a few cocktails. Once I did get home I just sat my butt on the couch and read a book.
Saturday during the day I went shopping. I had birthday money burning a hole in my pocket. I ended up pulling the trigger on a new David Yurman bracelet that I'd been eyeing. Well, yesterday I realized there is a diamond missing! I'm going to take it in this week. I have no way of knowing if it fell out after I bought it or was like that before I even wore it but they really should replace or fix it at no charge given I've had it less than one week. Saturday night I met some girlfriends for tacos and margaritas.
Sunday I went to a pool volleyball party. It's a group that gets together for pool volleyball a few times each summer and it's always a blast. There's one guy who goes who flirts with me consistently. I got a little tipsy and finally said to him, "Um, you, me, chemistry...off the charts". He goes, "Always has been. I'm actually shocked we haven't f*cked by now." Um...no, just no.
This is seriously ridiculous weather for MN in May.
I worked Saturday with no A/C in my office and I was sweating like a pig. Went home and immediately jumped in the pool and stayed there for several hours.
Sunday I was up and over to my parents house by 8AM. My mom and I had went flower shopping earlier in the week and we needed to get the flowers planted so we did it early Sunday before it got too hot. Then I just meal prepped for the week and did laundry.
Monday I had to work and it hit 100 degrees outside. AGAIN - crazy for May.

My weekend was good. Played D&D with the nerds Friday. Saturday, I went to my friends housewarming party--at the party I found out stuff about a guy in the nerd group that's going to get him kicked out or cause the group to fold and reform without him. Sunday, the kids came back and we relaxed. Yesterday, we watched the parade and the kids went to the pool with grandma and grandpa.
I was at work at 6:30 this morning and am wiped out.

Just an FYI for the future it is probably cheaper to have a local nursery deliver dirt/mulch. We had that done when we built our raised beds and it was so much cheaper and easier than buying and hauling bags that I will never buy the bags again unless I need a small amount like 1-2 bags. You do need a shovel and wheelbarrow once you get your load but it certainly is worth it to go that route.
We did the mulch delivery route once and swore never again, haha. We HATED all the shoveling so we pay more to be lazy with bags. Plus, some of our gardens are on slopes so it's a b*tch to try and maneuver a wheelbarrow to dump it.
