Every day this week has felt like a Monday...except today is most definitely a Friday! Doing anything fun this weekend? Anything fun to share with the class?

We had a big drug court celebration/veteran's court graduation yesterday and it was really cool to be a part of that. The graduate, who is my client, gave a speech that had me in tears! He was on the news and I couldn't be prouder of his success! But I was freaking wiped out from running my ass off all day for work, so I went to bed early! Speaking of beds, my kid launched himself on my bed and busted my box spring and bed frame so I was forced to buy a new bed. Until it arrives, I'm sleeping on my mattress on the floor...which is really low to the ground when I'm getting up in the morning...feeling my age, lol!

This weekend is pretty quiet, I think. DS is staying at extra night at XH's to help stream his brother's graduation ceremony for his grandparents. DD is working, so I'll be having a quiet night at home. I have a bunch of house projects I need to get done, so that will keep me busy. I'm off Monday and Tuesday to do two more college tours with DD, since she really needs to decide where she's going in the fall.

Oh hey! Work has kicked my rear end this week, topped off with a fantastic stress-induced migraine yesterday, so I am really looking forward to not being at my desk for 2 days.

M and I need to go pick out new kitchen floor tiles tomorrow (yes, Lowe's has FINALLY agreed to just pay the damn bill to have the floors replaced by a contractor of our choice). And the contractor we're choosing will also do the whole house paint, and we've settled on paint colors, woot! (We'll be using SW Agreeable Gray in the halls, kitchen, and master, Anew Gray in most other rooms, with Sea Salt in the master bath).

Other than that, I want to do exactly nothing. However, I have a mountain of laundry and many, many piles of things to organize. Plus we now have a whole lot of cleaning/wiping of walls to do before painters show up in a week, because as usual, the dog fur is everywhere when you start looking at the corners of the baseboards and such.

We have a half day today as we are meeting with the photographer to scout locations for our wedding ceremony. Tomorrow I have a baby shower and Sunday I have my trial for my hair and make-up. She said it will be three hours. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm a "get ready in 20 minutes" kinda gal so how will I sit still for three hours?!!?

HOORAY for Friday!! This short week has felt extra long. One of my co-workers is out for a few weeks and we're trying to cover her cases, plus we just got more cases from our trainees leaving, so we've been overwhelmed all week. It'll be nice to relax this weekend!

Tonight I'm going to dinner with one of my best friends, her roommate, and his dad who's in town visiting. After dinner we're going to see Solo. Tomorrow I think we're all going to a baseball game together in the evening, so I'm going to have a leisurely morning. Sunday I'll be phone banking and doing laundry. Exciting stuff!

Tonight I am having a nice quiet dinner with my 2 besties and tomorrow night I am having a big family a d friends bbq and bonfire.
Sunday I plan to be lazy.
